More likely you'll be ignored for asking meaningless questions.

It's about the quality of the site, not its type. If it's optimized properly (both on and off page) and the competition is acceptable I see no issues having it on page 1.

If your site has unique quality content and you'll build quality links to it in a right way google will push you to 1st page. It doesn't matter for google if your site is affiliate or not.

The affiliate side of things won't make any difference. Just make sure you do your KW research correctly and some good honest (black hat) SEO and you could make it to the front page.

Google will never penalize you for being an affiliate site, assuming that your content is relevant and provides a reasonable level of resource to your visitors. Granted google seem to be moving more and more in the direction of operators/merchants over affiliates but that does not mean that you cannot get to page 1 as long as the niche is right!

Almost every SEO affiliate uses internal no-follow links that redirect to link to affiliate offers. Google prob. stills follows them, but it's widely known they do NOT like sites with blatant affiliate offer links all over the place.

Affiliate links have no place in Google result especially when it becomes saturated.

For the fact that the contents are the same, numbers high makes it impossible that's why affiliate marketers use a door way page or create a new site completely.

Maybe they don't put you on the first page and I don't blame them with an attitude like that.

Just because you have affiliate links doesn't mean Google will penalise you. People have to monetize their websites and affiliate links is just one way. As long as you provide good quality content, Web 2.0s and plenty of spam, Google will love you and put your website in the #1 for every keyword ever searched.
