Do you want to rank the casino site for the long term, medium term or short term? This should determine your linkbuilding strategy. I guess a crash and burn site is a good way to get short term leads, but long term your main site is still left with few or no links.
So it is all down to what you want out of the site

    Hey guys..

After years of silence, I decided to give it a try and share/contribute to the forums.

I've been doing any type of marketing for gambling for the last decade. I know SEO from A-to-Z and I have had an amazing record ranking for the hardest keywords in the industry. The path lead me to run my own online casino which is one of my main businesses at the last years.
Nothing comes easy, not ranking, not running your brand ...

Anyhow, I said I will give it a try, offer to help some of you guys. In exchange, of course I would love having strong partners that will be able to work with me and send traffic to my brand(s)/projects in the future.

Having said that, feel free PM me. I have no problem adding you to Skype or whatever and let you know whatever you need about the various types of sites that rank in
    the market and other insights..

Of course, I rather work/explain it to people that at least have some experience/results now or in the past, so there is less chance that I will be wasting my time ..
It doesnt matter if its SEO, Email marketing or others.. I can help.

I'll be checking in the next few days.. I wonder if some one will take my reply seriously and if there are some serious people here .. ;)

dude the way you will spam links to your money site will rank you but you are gonna be penalized forever after a fix period of time. Do something which is stable. Look for long term banking.

It really depends on your website and the type of traffic you attract. I had one site in the poker niche that got like 20 unique visitors a day and managed to convert 2 or 3 of those every day. The reason being it was a site dedicated entirely to the bonus code for one poker site. That one was awesome.. and I manged to get it ranking without spending a dollar on links or SEO. These days, that's not so easy. But it gives you an idea of the possibilities.

If you run a general gambling news site... you're in for a long battle. That kind of traffic converts poorly.

Put yourself in the mindset of the people running searches. What type of search terms do you think people type in when they are ready to play RIGHT NOW?

I think the network is the way to go for Adult definitely, the links you buy suck. I can imagine that the same for casino. I do know forums have done VERY well in the past for gambling/poker/casino.

By the way, I believe the way to succeed in casino niche is not paved with SEO (unless you take the short term approach).

The niche is relatively small and due to laws forces the people involved in it to be secretive. The approach should match the audience IMHO, private clubs all the way.

I agree with Untouchable, Try to rank your site quickly and reap money then through out. Repeat the process. Who care quality if we get good amount to bank.

Not sure if it's good form to share the name, but if you run any searches for the odds and math behind casino games, you're sure to find the site. This website digs deep into the math behind every game, complete with calculations and lots of tables. The owner runs his own calculations and serves as a great reference for every other person who talks about gambling math.

    Hi Leena,

I am Sandra, working for the casino affiliate program called Affactive.
The conversion rates of our casinos (signups to players) can be as high as 35-40%. Of course everything depends on the quality of the traffic.

Let me know if you have other questions.
