    Thats a damn good thread...

Or if your lazy and dont want to read, just

    Go to permalinks
    chose the last one, Custom
    copy and paste /%postname%/

Make sure you update your .htaccess file or set the cmod to 777 before you edit it.

Something that I tested on a site that works well is I choose the "custom" option under permalinks.

    Then I configure it with

    /%category%/%postname%/

I then set my "categories" as the long-tailed keywords that I want to go after.

I'm still relatively new to BHW but put my first site up 2 1/2 mos. ago and have been tweaking it here and there to see what does and does not work. I've made what I feel is a respectable $25 in the last week off of it between Ebay and Adsense. Not bad for a first start.

Now I'm starting to do more kw research to go after more niches.

BTW, A lot of these guys really like All-in-One SEO as a plugin but I have been using Platinum SEO and really like it.

I prefer Platinum over all in one
