Is there any chance to rank for specific cooking relating terms / recipes and outrank the big boys ( only need to get to page 1 ) I can't see any website on page 1 other than the very big ones.

Here are some tips on how to rank a cooking-related website. Content is very significant. Hence you need to include these two; first is using excellent photos, and second is including the recipes. The audience would love to see how the food looks like before they start following the recipe and instructions. The audience also uses search engines to do, to go, or to know. You have to make sure that your content also answers these concerns. When it comes to keywords, you should focus on the words or phrases that foodies know. Lastly, don't forget to use dashes in your website's address.

Make the site to be shared through major social media platforms, build quality backlinks and keep the site engaged regularly.

You can create accounts in Social networking websites and post recipes. It is better to create a separate group for recipes or join into recipe groups. It will be a free advertisement to your business. Also, host your videos in video hosting websites. Share the Page with others. It will also rank in the search engines.
Creating a blog in WordPress and share the post into social networking groups will increase the traffic.

Thank you all guys

I decided to go with a youtube channel, I have some very unique videos which will be of great interest to my audience.

I saw that there is no website ranking for recipe names or related keywords other than the big boys.
However I found a few yt videos that weren't from big publications or huge channels.

I was doing it anyway, but now I'm going to focus 100% on that. Only after it's going well I will start the website. Bought a nice domain for it.
If the youtube channel does really well, I might even make an app.

I will also make an instagram page with short videos and some pictures.

I will also pursue the website thing.

Would it be better to have posts or pages ?

I have about 50 very unique videos. How would a recipe post/page look like ?

Do you have any advice for ranking a brand new yt channel with this kind of content ? It's targeting a tier 1 english speaking country.
Only 1 country !

Try redirecting traffic from popular streams like YT & Reddit.
