For those of you who have SEO clients, what do you do with clients that are nationwide and have pretty generic sites? I mean what if you have a client that sells shoes, or jewlery, and it's not really unique? How can you get a piece of the pie besides PBNs? When I do local work, and some of my other big sites, they are pretty uniqe where I can get exposure from blogs and media. But what about sites that aren't really unique?

I have someone that wants me to do SEO for them, but their site is just a generic site. I don't want to promise them somethign I can't do. It's a competitive market. I mean even if you do PBN, paid links etc, you're still in a damn competitive market with multimillion dollar businesses.
