I'm use to doing non-adult websites and doubt if doing a nice amount of ******** links on blogs will help much lol Anyone doing adult blogging can give me a little direction for me to run in? Any help is appreciated Posted via Mobile Device
Adult Blog Directories can boost your juice feedmeporno.com , sexbloghunter.com etc stick "thumblogger.com" into google and pick the second or third result, copy there links (in sidebars)
Hmm that sound like a good idea but do you think it will be more people I'm competing woth opposed to people actually looking to download stuff? I maybe completly wrong since I never ventured into this before lol, but I'm still gonna pop my link in there now and see how it turns out Any more ways? Posted via Mobile Device
New here, but I think if you're niche is good and you keep plugging into directories, you can get some traffic. I've always built my own networks and used the same basic concepts for inter-linking
I'm going to be straight up honest with you. I used to work in the adult industry, I used to be 100% adult niches. Recently I've sold all my sites. Here's making a long story short: 95% of people searching for porn these days are only looking for free shit because the stupid tube sites + all the illegal downloading going on ruined the niche. The downloading thing is ok because its always been there, but the tube sites hit us hard. Porn movies are slowly dying and soon there will only be a few of the big companies around. That still doesn't mean there isn't money to be made. There always is. If I were you I would stick with webcams. Check out pussycash and webcams.com, they're both the best by far. Webcams is the only niche is adult which isn't dying because it's something that you can't really share illegaly (you can share recordings but its not the same thing). Webcams are personal and on demand so there will always be people ready to spend their money on it because its something they CAN'T get free. If you go with webcams, go with revshare. Sure $100 PPS is attractive but in the long run its shooting yourself in the foot. Think about it, if it wasn't profitable they wouldn't be tempting you with a single $100 payment. I've referred some big whales that made me a couple k each in the long run. PPS is good if you're in need of cash fast though. Don't get me wrong, there is still a lot of money to be made (remember, sex is what most sells in the world) with movies and memberships I just personally feel that with the hit that the market is taking and the effort I was having to put in to keep making the same amount of money each month, it just wasn't worth it for ME anymore. Your experience could be totally different though. I now realize I've totally strayed from the topic so I'll try to get back on track. Relevant do-follow links WILL help you. For me they did wonders. Just remember to keep your links niche relevant. Here's another little tip: target small fetish niches and your profits will be HUGE. They aren't that competitive and they're easier to rank for. It could take a while to find a decent fetish that isn't so saturated but it's worth it. Check out the really nasty stuff most people won't touch. I'm talking really nasty. The kind of shit you lose sleep over just thinking about it (you gotta have balls in this business). Those are usually the hidden gems. Sometimes the have only a couple hundred people or thousand interested but you'll have guaranteed customers that will buy from you because there's no one else pitching them something.
I agree with Given, I used to run adult blogs and sites but now you can pretty much get what you want free so people wont pay for it like they used to. Tube sites killed the adult industry.
Here is my strategy >> Start with five links from some of your older blogs and use five different anchor texts. Submit your blogs to five directories (adultblogdirectory, adultblogturtle, pornblogworld,...), use different titles and discriptions. Also check that each directory is on a different ip. Some webmasters own 10 or more of those directories, so if you get an invitation to submit your site to another directory after you've done the submission, don't do it, it's pretty sure hosted on the same ip. Many webmasters think those links are crap but if you don't overdo it you can get some nice traffic from those sites and it also helps seo-wise. Register @ tunder-ball.net and look for trades. Register @ adult webmaster forums (e.g netpond) and look for some quality link trades. If you have some money to invest buy some quality links. another hint: Don't use your main keyword in most of your anchor texts, just use it for quality links. With this strategy I manage to get 100+ uniques in the first month, which is a good basis. hope this helps, good luck! Hector
I agree with you halfway. Sales went down in the last two years but tube sites are just one of the reasons. I still have blogs that rank well for niches that make me a nice income. For some niches I promote I still have conversion rates around 1:300 which is pretty good nowadays. It's a lot tougher than 3 or 4 years ago, but there is still a lot of money to be made - adapt or die!
Yeah of course, if you rank well there's dollars to be made like I said. It just wasn't worth the effort for me anymore because I managed to find something better for me. How long have you been in adult? I left not to long ago. I was having 1:420 (it was once 1:90...those were the golden days lol) and when I finally hit the 1:400 conversion mark I said fuck this shit xD It's easier for me now to build a whitehat site and promote it with some blackhat and rake in the moolah.
I own a network of 200 blogs, ranking in top 10 with more than 30 blogs. The ratios i have is 1:4300, if i had another chance, i would not go with blogs.
I own a couple adult blogs that generate about 200 uniques a day. By far i think the best converting niche is dating sites such as AFF or something.
Could you recommend some good affiliates? The affiliates I have found in cartoon and hentai have unfortunently been unsatisfying.
