Hey guys needing some help with SEO for my new autoblog. How long does it generally take for google to index your site entirely, they have indexed the index page lol but none of my other pages are showing up
Hard to answer on that question. There could be reasons for that [from G angle]. Read this, might give you an idea or two. HTML: http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Webmasters/thread?tid=2172a84d24b88442&hl=en
WT is Google's Webmaster tools. When ever I start a new autoblog, I do all the on-site SEO, let WPRobot go to work for about a week, and then submit the site, and sitemap to google, and it gets indexed really quickly, like that day most of the time.
I dont do on page seo for autoblogs. Just set & forget dont spend much time behind autoblogs. try to make as many as you can.
I do in this way, just set and forget. Do research in keywords analysis carefully and big brother G do the rest. Some blogs get indexed in hours, some in days... some never...
lame answers. If you want to get indexed, and indexed fast you have do a lot of things right. So immediately after you launch the site (assuming you properly SEO'd your site), find someone to do directory submissions (the more, the better.) and also to hit your site with about 30 to 50 social media posts related to one of your site posts, not your homepage. These are to get links, and will increase chances/instances of spiders crawling your page through content and get you ranking for keywords. Then hit Pingler.com and ping your site. Submit a sitemap to WT. Ping your sitemap. Ping a couple URLs of your social media posts. But, don't go too crazy w/ pinging. You can overping and they know you are spamming. You have to make growth look natural. <Long Term Tip: Never ping any of the directory posts, especially if you submitted a lot of them. Best bet is to find someone who will drip feed directory submissions over a month. > Using wordpress helps. The built in pinger seems to work pretty well for attracting spiders. If you can execute this stuff around the same time, you can get a site indexed in a few hours. I've had a site indexed in about 2 hours and 30 pages indexed in a day. Then the backlinks start flowing and you start cruising up the rankings, especially if you have a good domain name and/or target a longish-tail keyword. P.S. if you leave google to do all the work you are just leaving a bunch of money/traffic on the table. Ping and pay someone to post SM bookmarks. It works and doesnt take much effort.
u can register with google webmaster tools...so u can check what page is not index, analysis, submit sitemap and many more... but carefull with google analytics...because sometimes, if your site have high bounce rates...google will penalize your domain ranking...
