    Hey everyone,

    I started a forum about 2 months ago and It's at about
    ..

    What are some SEO tips for forums to get my rankings into the 100,000's??

    Should I also be writing more unique 600+ word articles that is focuses around keywords that typical sites would do?

    Any tips would help

    The forum should have the content posted by your users, if there are enough. That's the point, it generates content automatically. Try socially inviting more members for traffic and the member list will grow as well as your content.

    For SEO, I would suggest a diverse set of links all anchored with naked urls, i.e. www. yoursite . com. With enough of those you shouldn't need to do anything but let goog index your pages and rank accordingly

    I submitted my main site URL to search engines should I submit anything else such as specific pages?

    don't underestimate but I think you should make fake posts by copying them from other forums to yours then start turning it into legit.

    Starting a forum, I would think, is all about the core group of members being consistent in their posting and provocative enough to convince a "lurker" to become a regular himself. That's really the only way your forum is going to grow--the quality of your core group of members.
