Here is a magazine article we found about Google's new algarithims; its how they've changed the SEO tactics. We're just gonna summarize this for you to help cut out most of the bullshit. What we got out of the article is that Google is now trying to dominate the link-building market.

A website's thirst for new links should be unquenchable. Lets look at how to build links through forum discussions and how to use the available services (they suggest primarily using Google's discussion services for higher rankings..). Your website can have a petabyte of exciting, compelling, and unique content (like we didn't know that already), but without other trusted and authoritative companies/sites linking to that content it will end up in the slow lane, spinning its virtual wheels.

Search engine optimization professionals the world over postulate ad nausium about the best and worst ways to acquire the links needed to achieve high rankings on both competitive and noncompetitive keywords and phrases, on both of the popular search engines on Google and Bing which powers Yahoo. what we all inevitably conclude is that there is no silver bullet; no single constant that we can rely on to acquire links.

Before going on, consider the following fair warning: if you're not taking a genuine interest in supporting those individuals involved in forums and continuing the conversation in this approach, realize you could ultimately cause more harm than good when engaging in a conversation on the web with the sole intent of building links. It is easy to lose sight of the accepted behavior in these forums - supporting and nurturing real conversions. Ignore this standard at your own peril.

now here comes the part that caught my attention very well..

Using Google's Discussion Search for Link Building
While very effective, forums take a fairly significant amount of time and dedication to have a positive affect on websites search rankings. So keep in mind that this is not a one-off strategy, but if discussion based link building is right for you, then the best place to turn is the discussion search feature at Google.

Google's discussion search, while under-utilized by the general web audience, is perhaps the best possible location on the World Wide Web to identify link targets.

And so this article goes on and on to praise this new Google discussion search as the only way to build links. This to me seems like Google is trying to break all of us Black Hatters. This article further tells you how much Google is taking over our link building and telling us where to go to build more links, which is their GDS. So look folks, there's a new sheriff in town and the name of its Google. He wants all our money, he wants all our business, and he's going to tell us how to do it.

So this looks like the answer as to why a bunch of our tools that help us do our search engine optimization are not working anymore. Google's change in their algorithums was not a change for good it was a change for them to make more money and pull it out of us who advertise.
I hope this answers all the questions about why our SEO has had to change so much. I never much use Google to rank my sites or get traffic. To me the only thing that mattered was getting real people on my page. There's a ton of ways to do this, but Google is starting to bottleneck us. I hope this helps and gives some explanation about what Google is doing right now to us.

It is a little accusatory that was the jist of the article with my opinion I will if necessary re-wright the whole article for y'all if that is what needs to be done.It is not a simple copy and paste I will have to type it all.
I thought it important to share how google was starting to count backlins from them only or there sites they choose.

What I like in Google is that they think outside the box.

While Microsoft desperately attempts to enter the search market Google takes over the infrastructure. Microsoft will spend billions just to discover that from now on Internet belongs to Google.

Tomorrow when you will say Google you will mean Internet. And thats what I hate about Google. :)

I'm sorry but, this article is truely worthless (coming from the owner of an IM firm).

The only thing it says is use Google's discuss search to find relevant links... ok and...?

Google always puts out propaganda. I choose to ignore it and do what works. Same thing while many of you are freaking out about Page Rank which mattered in 2005 and I out rank all your PR 0-whatever sites.

    remember those words????
google is taking over the internet and acts like Al Capone...he strong arms us into paying protection or do no business on the internet.Of course I do exaggerate the gravity of the situation but all the same they are changing the rules or the game.As so we must adapt.
