    Hello Everyone,

This week I have a couple of interviews for a digital marketing executive. I have been an SEO specialist for an agency for almost 2 years, so I think it's time to up my game.

I have some interviews coming up for a digital marketing executive position. The plan is to bring an audit in of their competitors, technical site health, PPC spend and maybe a few other things I can find.

Do you guys have any recommendations on what I could take? Anything you did, that the employers would want to see? Or that would impress them?

Any help, or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Although time is not on your side, one thing I did to gain a few local SEO clients a little while back was register a domain and build a site and full social brand for a spa that doesn't exist in a city near me. I spent some time off and on until the site was ranking above most other sites and used a PO Box in that city for just a month to verify a Google Places listing. Then I went to their competition and mentioned something along the lines of "if I can rank a business that doesn't exist higher than your own in a short amount of time, imagine what I can do for your company."

So I did a full Local SEO overhaul for one spa in that same city, and then sold leads for a while from the contact form to another spa in that city as well.

Long story short: case studies of things you've done successfully, as well as things you've done unsuccessfully and learned greatly from.

Best of luck, man. Always good hearing people transitioning their online passions into a solid career.
