Actually, I managed to hire a student that specialises in nutrition and diet. I pay him 15$ per article which is very cheap but I make effort to build up his authority in the niche as well.

Also, my girlfriend is writing almost all of the money pages and she helps with editing and even link building as well so I pay her a proper salary at this point.

Usually I just buy guest posts but not always and never through 3rd party service. I simply contact people and ask if I can pay for a link / guest post.

P.S Im a huge fan of Tyson Fury

Here is a little update for those interested:

    INCOME UPDATE

I wasn't really expecting much sales due to the whole pandemia thing.

So I found myself very surprised when I got this email from NutriProfits today:

    Screenshot 2020-03-16 at 22.21.11.png

    This is some good sells!

March has been quite nice to me so far:

    Screenshot 2020-03-16 at 22.53.15.png

But Im assuming worst case scenario i.e very low to none sells in the following days.

I have even invested some small portion of money into crypto which you can learn more about in this thread.

    NEW CONTENT

Content-wise I just published a huge 2.5k words article targeting a medium competition keyword.

Also, I went back and rewrite an old article targeting a high-value money keyword. The rankings increased in a matter of days but Im yet to see sells from this article.

I want this article to rank higher fast so I added 2 external links to this post as well.

Currently, the editing process takes me way too much time and it is slowing me down significantly.

I have about 5-10 articles just sitting there for weeks because I keep on finding excuses not to edit them...

Editing is slow because Im trying to make things pretty and I spend a lot of time on internal linking, meta titles and other on-page / UX optimisations.

I need to somehow find the balance, between quality and time... Allow myself to publish 95% perfect posts no need for 100%.

The good thing is that it seems to do the job because I ranked right at the top of the 2nd page immediately after the page was index!

    LINK BUILDING

I stay consistent with my link building as usual. In March I already got a couple of guest posts, one niche edit and a bunch of manual links pointing to homepage.

Im also hunting domains and working on some new PBNs as well but just developing them for now won't be placing any links there (just want to have that asset in place when I want to rank something fast in the near future).

    GROWTH PLAN

I need to seriously stop frucking around and start adding muuuch more content! The website has the authority and the content will rank.

Keep improving your authority consistently one bit at the time and you will get there eventually.

Don't get discouraged looking at the powerful competition! They might have super high DR but they don't optimise their individual posts well enough so you can outrank them with time.

Not always, sometimes Im literally searching various different keywrods in Google and look for opportunities this is probably not super efficient but the point is that I don't need to find 100 placements at once, just a couple potential placements and then email them and 1 or 2 will agree to cooperate.

Im not doing anything at scale, always takin baby steps but I think it works well because it looks natural.

Usually KW in the title and long tails in h2s depending on the keyword difficulty

What is your content strategy? Do you post only about supplements or more general about weight loss tips, diets plans, etc?

Let's I looked up my niche competitor in ahrefs and found the backlinks that he has, but now how do I get backlinks from those websites manually, I mean even if I ask them via mail, do they actually consider me?

    Good work so far!

Want to give some advice on guest posts since a few people in here are talking about it. In most cases, you want to do your own outreach for guest posts, and avoid GP service providers. Very often, when you use a GP provider, your post will go up on a site that has turned into a guest-post farm. You can avoid all that by vetting sites on your own, and getting placements on sites that rarely take on guest posts.

On top of that, you have an opportunity to negotiate exposure for the guest post. A guest post that is shoved 4-5 levels in on a site will pass very little link juice to your site, so you can ask that your GP be added to a primary or secondary level category, and maybe even ask for an interlink to it. Things like this are necessary for the guest post to actually be useful to you.
