Ok, so i've been reading a lot around here.

I'm way interested in Seo, i've based all of my traffic off of ezines articles for the past 2 years, i've made some pretty good money, but now i'm realizing, if I could get seo down, I would pretty much be in the money forever. I was great at adwords (i'm pretty good at math) until I got banned.

Problem is? I feel like i'm missing something.

I read some about xrumer, paid for a good service, they built over 60,000 profile links to my site, but i'm still not doing so well traffic wise..

Now comes the "duh" part, I shoulda listened to people here and realized that it doesn't work that way, from what i'm reading now you have to set up web 2.0 sites to point towards your site, then blast links to the web 2.0 sites.

Honestly I'm still way confused, I feel like i'm missing something, any good courses in the download section that could help me?

Note: My domain is like 4 months old, which from what i've now read, probably means I won't be ranking for the next 6 months or so.

    SEO is simple really.

    Research KW
    Create site with chosen kw.
    Optimize onpage
buildlinks with tons of web2.0 properties
blast those 2.0 sites with xrumer , scrapebox
    small blasts directly to domain
    get those links indexed

dont make it complicated when its not.

It sounds like you already know the different things to do for creating offsite backlinks and onsite optimizing for your pages.

If the point of your thread is that the overall point seems confusing, then you should go read this thread:
    SEO - Understanding the Simulation

It was written to answer that specific question.

If you're looking for an overview of where to go with your SEO efforts then you can follow a link in that thread to another on called "Basic SEO practices for newbies:".

You probably know the different techniques that are discussed in those threads, but they give a big picture overview to the process. If you read through those threads you'll find a lot of other tips and tricks for getting the most out of SEO. After that it's just a matter of looking up more specifics in the SEO forums.
