I suck at journeys, yeah I said it, and I mean it too. I probably have started 3 journeys by now and I dropped each and everyone of them. This time, I want to actually stick with this mother fucking journey and see through it for once. "If I can't have it, neither can you." That phrase right there describes the crab mentality the best. That is how I feel about anyone that I talk to about making money on the internet. "There's no fucking way you can do it, go get a real job." Most of us probably heard that before at one point in our lives. The point of this journey is for me to climb out of the crab bucket and show them that I can have it and they can suck it. Here's what I'm working on currently + some cool code names PROJECT: RUBBER DUCKY This was the first project I started working on and it seems to be coming along nicely. Only problem right now is monetizing this bad boy. I'm trying Amazon for it right now, no, not some kind of review site. More along the lines of "How do I ______ by my self" kind of website. Using Amazon Native Shopping ads that is shown globally on the website. Need to rank more keywords currently to help boost the amount of daily visitors. Oh, and I need to fix the design soon, the bounce rate is ass right now. PROJECT: BANG BANG This one isn't as old but I didn't really focus much attention to this website. I got it built and then bought a package for links and just left it. I think it's been a little over a month now and at least there is some movement. Will start working on this one day by day. Currently monetized with Amazon, this one is one of those classic Amazon Review websites, specifically reviews on products. PROJECT: RED MOON This one is new, like very new.. How new? Less than 24 hours old. I wanted to work on this one on more of a self improvement project. What do I mean by that? I suck at writing and I always try to avoid it. I'm writing all the content myself for this project and it's targeting where I live locally. Yes, this is a local SEO project if that wasn't clear. It's going to be a Rank and Rent model or a lead generation with local businesses. I looked around for a bunch of local keywords and will write an article a day for every keyword I find. Will be building links to the homepage slowly, see how the website reacts. How do I do SEO? For projects like these / in this thread (Maybe not RED MOON), web 2.0's, profiles, and SAPE. At this moment, I don't build PBN's or scrape for expired domains. It's not as easy as it used to be to find high quality expired domains now and I'm not ready to be blowing money like I'm at the strip club in the auctions. I don't want to buy PBN links either because SAPE is waaaaaaay cheaper and just as good if you actually spend the time to learn how to filter through the links and what not.. I get the feeling someone is going to be asking me about on-page seo, I don't really focus much on that. Title, url, interlinking, and image alt-tags, that's all I do. I have a background as a web designer and work as a frontend developer, so I focus more on user experience. What I really care about? SITE SPEED. I HATE WEBSITES THAT TAKE LONGER THAN 1 SECOND TO LOAD. All of these sites are less than 1 second and I don't even know if Google likes that shit and I don't even care. Fin Geez, I was quite the blabbermouth just now wasn't I? Oh well, I will try to not suck ass and update this thread daily.
