    Hey guys,

It's now the time to giving back to this awesome community. So today I've decided to share a full SEO Case Study of mine. I hope you guys enjoy it, so here's the full details.

I know that a lot of people said that EMD (Exact Match Domain) sites are dead, especially since the latest google EMD update where many EMDs got slapped really hard. Well, this is not true at all. I want to share you a Case Study that my team have done. This one is for a 4,400 Exact Match keyword where we were able to rank in just a few days.

    - Site URL: http://carbrandlogos.net/
    - Keyword: car brand logos (4,400 Exact Search)
    - CPC: $4.87 (pretty good for Adsense)

Ranking Chart: (from nowhere to #6 in just a few days)

This site goes from nowhere to rank #6 in google in just a few days after being created. The domain was registered at 19-feb-2013 and we need a couple of days to finish building the site, adding some contents, on page SEO, etc.

We started doing link building on this site at 25 Feb. In the chart above, the first page ranking was first seen at 27 Feb, so pretty much in just 2 days after link building, this site goes from nowhere (N/A) to rank #6 in google. Pretty cool I must say.

Now the question is, How Can I Do That?

There are 3 Important Factors to get super fast ranking in google: Niche Research, On Page SEO and Link Building.

    1. Niche Research

This it probably the most important factor out of all these three. You are pretty much guaranteed a first page google rankings with a good niche research. You want to make sure that your competitor in the top 5 in google have an average PR of 3 (or less) and have an average backlinks of 300 or less (you can check this using ahrefs.com or Majestic SEO)

    2. On Page SEO

This one is pretty simple, I've found a formula of a great On Page SEO and it's pretty simple to do too, here it is:

    - Use keyword in your page Title
    - Use H1 tags in your content (make sure the H1 is your keyword)
    - Use image with alt text = your keyword
    - Make sure the image name is your-keyword.jpg
    - Make sure to include your keyword in the site's Meta Description

That?s it! It?s pretty simple to do and will give you great results!

    3. Link Building

Here's what our team do for this site daily:

    - Build 5 backlinks from Web 2.0 Properties daily
    - Build 10 backlinks from Wiki sites every Monday, Wednesday, Friday
    - Build 5 blog network backlinks every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
    - Build 5 backlinks from EDU blogs every Monday, Wednesday, Friday
    - Build 5 backlinks from Web 2.0 Profile every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday

The most important point in here is Daily Drip Feed and use a lot of platforms to build your links so that it will look natural in google eyes. Feel free to use more link building platforms, just make sure to not build too many links daily for a new sites like this, 10 to 20 backlinks daily is usually good enough. If your site's is aged or are in a more competitive niche. Then building 50+ links daily should be ok.

Don't forget to use Tier-2 link building, I'm using Wiki sites as a Tier-2 with a pretty good results. I'll build at least 50 to 100 Tier-2 Wiki backlinks for each of these Tier-1 backlinks. You can automate this easily using tools.

    4. Anchor Text Diversity

This is very important to avoid Google Penguin filter! We follow this formula to create our anchor text:

    - main keyword (20%)
    - related keyword (40%)
    - plain URL (20%)
    - generic anchors (20%)

Anchor text used for this site (in spintax version):

    Code:
    {car brand logos|car brand logos|car brand logos|car brand logos|car brand logos|car brand logos|car brand logos|car brand logos|car brand logos|car brand logos|car brand logos|car brand logos|A Brand Car Logos|Car Logos|Brand Car|Car Brand Logos|Car Brand Logo|car brands logos|all car brand logos|car brands logos and names|luxury car brands logos|auto brand logos|foreign car brand logos|cars brand logo|auto logos list|car makers logos|car brands logo list|Logos|sport car brands|logo for car brands|famous car logos list|auto manufacturers|Car makers|famous logos list|car logo companies|http://carbrandlogos.net|http://carbrandlogos.net|http://carbrandlogos.net|http://carbrandlogos.net|http://carbrandlogos.net|http://carbrandlogos.net|http://carbrandlogos.net|http://carbrandlogos.net|http://carbrandlogos.net|http://carbrandlogos.net|http://carbrandlogos.net|http://carbrandlogos.net|site link|important link|useful link|blog link|my link|check that|check here|check my site|click here|read more|visit us|learn more|website|go here|this site}
    Traffic Stats!!!

Here?s the latest traffic stats for this site:

Traffic is increasing daily as we get better rankings on our main keywords and some long tails. Now we average about 170+ visitors per day to this site. Pretty good for 2 weeks of work.

Current Rankings and Some Long Tail Keywords

As of March 30th, currently it is being ranked #2 in google for it?s main keyword ?car brand logos?. And we also have some of the long tails already ranked in the first page of google, so it?s pretty good so far :)

    Conclusion

Daily Drip Feed link building works, EMD still works and thin content sites still works well in google. If you have any questions, feel free to reply here and I?ll do my best to answer.

I hope you enjoy my Case Study, don't forget to hit the Thanks button guys! :)

    Future case studies coming soon.

Nope man, still haven't added any monetization yet. Probably will add Adsense in the next few weeks.

Any reason why you didn't add monetization? Does that play a role in rankings too?

Your case study must be inspiring to someone who are starting with emd's.

emd's are still working. But google's occational patches might hit it. Keep add content on regular basis to have a good crawl rate.

I'm glad you posted this, 'cause I found this case study a few days ago online and had some questions.

When I look at the backlinks that I can find for your site, most seem to come from private blog networks.

I understand that you promoted it using your seo maximus system right? My question is, did you only use private blog network posts? I have had trouble finding any of the web2.0 type backlinks that your site makes.

I decided 2 days ago that when my subscription to my current seo service runs out i'm gonna give you guys a try ;) so I just wanted to ask a few questions first.

OP congratz. But that graphic is from jetpack and it shows pageviews. So your UV may be 40-60.

Great job, OP. But the enduring test is to stay in the 1-3 position over the longer term. This is even more important if you are creating lots of sites, thus cannot keep up actively building links for each site. So follow the above linking schema for about two weeks max, set it and forget it.

    What a crock of shit!

Check the search term out on spyfu.com - only 2 of the top 50 rankings are are home pages - the rest are inner pages - any home page optimized for the search phrase would top rank

It's also a BS search phrase with only 2 advertisers - so it's not even commercial - just checked google.com and no adwords ads anywhere on the page

    You guys are so gullible!

The content on your website smells like cheese gone bad. Sure you get the rankings, I shudder to think of the bounce rate.
My guess would be "Instant Bounce".
Also, I would like to hear what the OP has to say to the extremely low competition/ low commercial intent properties of the keyword.

P.S: I understand that this is just for illustrative purposes.

    Cheers
