[SEO] Build a competitive niche website, objective 3000€/m

[[Update 7]][Ranking]

What I thought was a promising sign of ranking on the 28th, was just in fact a false promise.

I have absolutely no idea what is going on. I suspect Elementor Builder playing a role in the rendering of my site. I will be refactoring my site under Oxygen Builder the next few days, for faster & cleaner code.

Many people use elementor for their site, it shouldn't affect the SEO. Unless you have a very heavily modified elementor site, then it could be a problem.

Hope you manage to rank higher with the coming months.

You're right, it shouldn't. Anyway, the code bloating is awful, I just need to make it more "simple" and "efficient". Will kill time until it ranks again.

Instructive journey.
Which do you think is better: Elementor or Oxygen?

Definitely fell in love with Oxygen (bought it 3 days ago for anothe rproject of mine). If you know HTML + CSS, you should be ready to do what you did in Elementor way faster and with less bloat of code.
Elementor has way more components although, but in the end, too much JS and CSS loading, very hard to optimize.

Thank you for that opinion.
I wish you all the best for your success on this trip. And thank you so much for sharing it with us.

I'm following you on this journey bumper to bumper, really learned alot here.

Thank you

[[Update 8]][Technical]

ok So i'm just done refactoring my website and getting rid of Elementor (I rebuilt the site with Oxygen Builder, had some trouble with the woocommerce plugin but it's alright). It's way faster. Way way faster. Also when you look at the DOM it's clean. Not much ressources loaded. google will love it, hopefully.

Let's let it sleep for a week and see what happens then. Google has some indexing issues lately.

[[Update 8]][Technical]

So far no news.

I rank forst for my brand, other keywords comes and go.

My supposition is that I have been caught in some kind of algorithmic penalty; the first verison of the site had uncloaked amazon affiliate links directly on the homepage (40+ links), and I am now struggling to get some kind of reconsideration by Google.

My backlink profile is growing slowly. You can see the organic keyword and say "dude, you're ranking" but the actual fact are quite different. Ahrefs checks keyword now and then, so most of these "ranked" keywords are actually from the days were all my pages where in the 50ish positions

As I said, I'm just letting things follow the natural path from now on...

[[Update 9]][Ranking]
I did somehting considered ballsy today. Registered the domain.cctld version of my domain.gtld and dupliacted the whole site. Added it to search console, added the sitemap. I will let those 2 sites run side by side in the index and see whihc one Googles pick up. If it's the ccTld (the new one), I'll consider the old domain to have received an algorithmic penalty and move to the new domain.
Lets's hope

The same is happening with me and my newest website. Mine isn't quite as old as yours, but I'm seeing something similar happening with mine. No penalties to speak of, though. My website first went online towards the end of June. Let's both just keep pushing through it! :)

Same, my page is very very slowly climbing up from 90+ to 30+. Started posting to it in march. I have more content than the other sites that are ranking higher though, so I should be able to move a lot higher still.
