Its meant to be the SEO bible. I respect the guy somewhat, he seems to know what he's on about. I've had the book on my hard drive for ages though and still havent bothered reading it - dont know if theres anything in there that I dont already know!

gotta say, i thought the same way, i disagree with some things mentioned in there but i learnt a few new tricks either way, never turn down a chance to go through someone's big ass list of seo tricks, therell always be something (no matter how minor) that you pick up in the process

Wall is a monster when it comes to SEO, and so many people are the same way as diego said, where they think they can't learn anything from it. I was the same way, but you really can. Plus even if you read the whole thing and pick up 1 or 2 techniques you didn't know before, it is well worth the read.

I have to agree. I think I've learned at least one minor thing from every single SEO product I've ever read.

LOL - Is that like sleeping with a book on your head? Is the information just seeping into the rest of your computer and forcing it to magically employ the methods to your websites on the internet?

    LOL

Essentially all these books and courses tell you the same stuff:

    1. Onpage optimization
    2. Keyword Research
    3. Unique content is king
    4. Incoming links from relevant sites
    5. Don't worry too much about Page Rank
    6. Social bookmarking
    7. Avoid duplicate content
    8. Domain names

The essence is always the same no matter what book you read, I have not found one book that has given you a golden formula and that is because it simply does not exist. Whitehat SEO is all about hard and boring work, you need to be consistent to get results, I think it is best to read one or two of these books and then spend your time actually implementing what they say. Reading tons of new books is nice (if you actually read them once you have downloaded them).

If you are interested in reading a short but really to the point paper on white hat seo then I really recommend Michael Martinez' Introduction to SEO Theory that you can find here
