Hi everyone!
Yesterday i finally took action and created my first amazon affiliate niche website. I started writing some articles related to my niche, and as an example i am going to use the "gaming chairs" keyword.

First of all, should i waste time writing articles about "gaming chairs" without any affiliate links in them? For example make a post about "Why gaming chairs can make your posture better" etc.

Second and most importantly:
I wrote 2 articles related to my niche today, and i am thinking of making my main article now, which will be "Best Gaming Chairs". Now my question is, should i make a different article for each long tail keyword, such as "Gaming chairs for fat people" "Gaming chairs for kids" etc, or just group all of them into one and use headers to target the long tail keywords?

I am really lost on that second part and i need some help, all replies are greatly appreciated!

The more content, the merrier.

More content means your site becomes authoritative and contextualized. This is very good for long term ranking.
The more articles, the more chance you have to rank for long tail keywords.

Content is the key.

The more is definitely the better but it's all based upon your competition.
Checking other things such as referring domains, backlinks, tf, cf and domain age of your competitors will help a lot.

More unique quality content > Better Rankings

Thats how it worked for me at least in the past years. :)

When the long tail are related to the main keyword, i use them in one big article.
But if the site homepage is not going to be static, then creating different topics is ideal.

I'd stick with 1 separate article for each longtail keyword. Longtail keywords rock! Use Google "related searches" section (in the bottom of search results) to find a myriad of longtail keywords,.

And if you are on Wordpress, don't forget to use Yoast SEO plugin.

Good luck!

you did something good i think,
imo, you just build relevancy, and that will tell google whats exactly your page about..
good luck
