    Is there any problem with adding the number 1 to the end of your domain name? It is part of a company name targeting very high competition keywords.

    I don't think so, why should it give any problem? If it is the brand name Google will recognize it soon don't worry.

    Yes, it's not good. Avoid it. Excessive dashes too is bad. The year, like 2014 is sometimes good though.

    Adding the number '1' at the end of your domain name is almost as bad as putting it in your username, on forums.
