Is there a bigger hammer that can be used when SEnuke says don't bother?? There has to be something to break through the wall of competition.

I don't really like the Senuke keyword tool because all that it seems to analyze is allintitle: for the keyword. It does not take into account the backlinks, age, etc... of the urls ranking.

Obvious answer Sherlock! Simply giving up on a keyword is not an option. I am looking for an answer that someone could provide insight that has been there before.

If everyone gave up everytime something said it was too hard then we would never get anywhere. I also do like to worker smarter, but in times of a specific keyword no is not an answer I want to live with.

If it's a keyword with decent volume overall,

Try 1 level deeper or long tail

    ie

    If keyword "shoes"

Go one level in - "running shoes" or "hiking shoes"

or, go long tail - almost sentences that people would type into google - "recommened shoes for hiking" "best basketball shoes for tall people" "what month of the year should a person buy tennis shoes"

I won't add to this - ways to find and work with these are well covered in this forum (and google)

I have been able to dominate keywords that SEnuke says to not even try. If all you are using is SEnuke for your SEO than don't go for it but if it's only one of the many tools in your army than you should be able to rank.

I have been focused on email marketing for so long. I need to get with the times and add social media, PR, Backlinks, etc.. to the mix. I am trying to read all the posts of what works and what doesn't.

I am too busy building a downline helping them and talking to new prospects. I am leading the design with a team of developers on my next generation of my lead capture and management software(kick azz stuff). I am doing what I can to take time and read through the posts. I don't mind doing research, but a guy can only do so much in one day and still make time for the girly.

Thanks for the tip, I will try to get well versed on SEnuke and see what else would be helpful to pickup. I see a lot of talk about Xrumer, all suggestions are welcome.
