My linkwheels rarely get indexed! Quite annoying really..even though the person that creates them for me pings them AND submits RSS feeds of them..

I think I may leave linkwheels in the future..I haven't noticed much from them out of the 10-12 or so times I've used them.

I know others will probably come straight in and defend linkwheels..but that's just what I've noticed..if the links aren't getting indexed then what's the point

Probably too early to tell, my only suggestion is to build backlinks onto your spokes MODERATELY at first. Also make sure that once a backlink source is used for one of your spoke, make sure that you only do a 1 backlink per for example 1 forum.

The RSS feed method is being raped everyday by big time spammers, in my opinion, the effect of RSS feed submission is not like it used to be. Although I wouldn't say that it's useless anymore.

You posted another thread that was pretty much the same thing. My advice to you is stop obsessing over your backlinks and keep moving forward.

Just because a backlinks doesn't show in a tool does not mean it does not exist unless it got deleted which shouldn't be a problem if you cover your tracks properly.

If you wait for results, there won't be any. Just keep working.

Very often, these "quick hit" linkwheels are totally ineffective.

My "linkwheels" still work because I take pains to evade every trigger, such as time spacing and not having crossed wires in the link graph.

    1. Did you make sure all properties of the wheel were indexed/discovered by google?

    2. Was the content unique?

    3. Did you build links to the doorways?

If your spinning the articles and using the spun articles thruout the wheel; you better make sure they are unique enough in Google's eyes, otherwise it will ignore them except for the original.

    Ouch.

10-30% is a pretty low success rate even for a link wheel.

I advise you to jump in to your next strategy... Give it time, it will eventually get indexed if you used Unique Content and had proper SEO done.

Don't waste your time waiting :)

I recommend spreading your stratgey also. Its good to know whats working however even nofollows and other things may make your seo look natural. Do more than 1 thing and you get more than 1 result.
