Sending traffic through backlinks for seo

Can it really help to go up in serp rankings? For example I hire people from microworkers to do this task fro several days. They will first input the backlink page URL to google and enter it, then they will clcik on hyper link which will bring them to my site. They will hover over my site and stay there for 1- 1.5 minutes, clicking inner pages. Could this work out ? ANybody done such experiments ?

only works short-term and only if you keep doing it. As soon as you stop, your rankings will drop. Besides, google will know that something's not right because no one types the URL of an inner page of an unknown site into their browser and click on the same internal link all the time. Too obvious of a pattern
