    Hi,

I have a vBulletin forum with around 70k members. When I use the "send email to users" from the adminCP to send emails (newsletters), about 50k emails bounce because they are being treated as SPAM by mail providers (such as Gmail, Yahoo etc.). They think my emails are SPAM and they do not deliver it and out of 70k emails, about 50k are bounced (never delivered). The email text seems okayish, doesn't look spammy. The remaining emails that do not get bounced get delivered I believe. I am on a VPS.

What to do? Any specific settings to use? Experts help required.

Sounds like your domain has been marked as spam.

Thanks for the link. Here is the result. Does this explain why Gmail and Yahoo are treating my emails as SPAM?

i know that this thread is old but i am currently going through a similar situation..but it is my server ip ..i believe. All of my emails are going to spam. I called my host and they said that i was on this block list "barracudacentral". The weird thing was that i've never sent any emails. My email was working fine until I switched from a shared network to a VPS. So I called barracudacentral and they said that they would take me off of their list. I asked how did I get on the list in the first place..since my VPS was literally 2 days old (to me). He said that someone had this IP 5 months ago and they were put on the list. It blows my mind that my host provider wouldn't check this prior to assigning it to me...or is that how it works? Anyway they are removing the IP so whatever.

    Hi Pal
If your members are expecting emails from you or you're sending transactional emails,go for amazon SES,it's very cheap 1$ for 10,000 emails sent.

However, you should have bounce rate below 3% and spam rate below 0.1% else they will close your account.
