"Leahy's rewritten bill would allow more than 22 agencies -- including the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Federal Communications Commission -- to access Americans' e-mail, Google Docs files, Facebook wall posts, and Twitter direct messages without a search warrant. It also would give the FBI and Homeland Security more authority, in some circumstances, to gain full access to Internet accounts without notifying either the owner or a judge."

I don`t this particular bill will pass but unfortunately I think it`s only a matter of time since the internet freedom is gone...almost every single quarter they try to come up with new deceptive policies to start their new 'hands on' policies.

Exactly. They're like, "You're not meditating on the fact that we do this. Be afraid. Be very afraid!" :p

This is unreal so unlike the USA of 50 years ago !

Now if you say anything that is politically incorrect you get 20 years in the slammer - for doing f**k all wrong...
