    Com. = Competitive density of advertisers. A ranking system designed to show the competition for a particular phrase. 1 is the hardest.

    You can read it for yourself at SemRush by mousing over the the little question mark to the left of the Com. in the same cell when you select Com.

    com = adwords competition
    "Competition: The number of advertisers worldwide bidding on each keyword relative to all keywords across Google. In the "Competition" column, you can see whether the competition for a keyword idea is low, medium, or high."

    No it has nothing to do with seo. But high competition it is a indication that it is a money keyword so it could be possible that lots of other webmasters might be targeting that keyword .

    Typically when dealing with SEMRush which I do on a daily basis when poking around for some new affiliate niches.

    COM is referred to advertiser density... This is also typically what judges the buying intent of users in these keyword niches. You see the higher the bid typically means you're going to be having higher conversions with these keywords organically/PPC based.

    That's why you see so many high volume keywords with very few people trying to optimize for anything, but adsense. Without buyer intent traffic is just shit.

    Review/Best/Top/Coupons are much better buyer intent keyword attachments than just high volume non-sense.

    Good luck
