I'm using WordPress and I know the article title is known as H1 and we are passed to h2 h3

if you're not using any SEO plugin, WordPress will set your post title for both h1 and meta title,
it really shouldn't be a problem and it doesn't cause any problem for a shit load of websites that do rank pretty well,
but since the title should usually be limited to a set number of chars (60+-), you can write longer and more descriptive h1 headings
