I chose the following sites, just so you know:

    weebly
    ever
    squidoo
    livejournal
    vox
    wetpaint
    xanga
    quizilla
    blogger
    wordpress
    zimbio
    tumblr

So I manually created the accounts at these sites. This part was easy because most of these sites require a maximum of like 7 fields. Total of 13 tabs: 1 for email, 1 for each site.

I wrote a 250 word article in word beforehand, epic BS. Then I used the everprofits toolbar (google it, it's the first result) to rewrite. It's a horrible rewriter, but eh it got the job done. I posted each one in, and published them. Then I manually went in and added the links, very quickly because I used the same words in the same places in each one (dunno if this will detract from the overall effect). Tab 2 links to tab 13 and main site, tab 3 links to tab 2 and main site, 4 to 3 and main, etc etc in a wheel.

As for pinging, I didn't want to ping the rss feeds, so I just used a service called PingDevice I found as well.

Total time it took: 12 minutes including article writing while watching a show.

You don't need SENuke to build a linkwheel quickly, but I'm thinking that extra 7 minutes might mean another linkwheel. I'm cheap, so this is good enough.

Personally i take the extra bit of time and write a unique article for each and actually take my time to make each web 2.0 site bring me in traffic not only from google but also from the web 2.0 site itself!

It may take longer but it is well worth it!

Or just pay someone to write articles for you for about $2 for each article. Or you could just buy 1 article from a person, then use something like Power Article Rewriter and make how ever many copies you need and your done. Its simple and it might take a little longer, but what I have found out is that if your stuff is unique and readable and understandable, you got a better chance. :)

People are always going to want the lazy way to do things, as you can probably tell, most internet marketers fail because they are too lazy to do these simple tasks, so they invest in products and end up spending all their earnings on trying to automate everything! :p

Hi Guys, I am confused with the term bookmarking as it pertains to the linkwheel.
Could some body enlighten me on that please? does it mean pinging the sites?

I made a linkwheel but I am stuck at this point. I don't know if I should go to a ping site
and ping the seven urls I did or...

I did submit the RSS I created from the links.

    Any help will be appreciated

Bookmarking in a link wheel means posting all the links in your link wheel to the free social bookmarking site like clipclip, digg, or pligg and scuttle sites. It's just a site where you can create a free profile and post your favorite links.

Some suggest only bookmarking the sites surrounding the money page, not bookmarking your money page itself - to avoid getting sandboxed for having spammy looking links. I would think that if you are manually creating your bookmarks, go ahead and bookmark your money page. If you are using bookmarking demon to create hundreds of bookmark accounts, don't bookmark your money site.

But you should ping all your site urls each time you change or add content.
Only ping your RSS feeds one time.

Here is a good site to check the popularity of Web 2.0 sites. Some of the most popular bookmarking sites, like Delicious, are listed here. And most of the other sites will let you create a profile and post a link to your site and/or post an article.

I'm pretty sure linkwheels are used to get higher on the rankings, not to provide traffic...but I don't know.

Lemonarian's post suggests a 6-spoke wheel. I saw another with 25+ sites in a complicated web that takes 3 days to build, so I took the middle and had a 12-spoke wheel.

why do you want to get higher traffic rankings if it's not going to provide traffic :/

you do linkwheels to get higher rankings to get more traffic, right?

Yes I meant the primary goal is to get higher rankings; the side benefit is the traffic.

    rofl...i'm sorry...that's just silly.

the primary goal should be to get the traffic...the side benefit is to get higher rankings

traffic should always be the primary objective....not the side benefit

i think he meant that we our main goal from link wheels is to push the website on search engings to get traffic from them, and not getting traffic from the web2.0

I just put together a huge 32 spoke linkwheel. I plan to dominate my keyword with it.

    My Method:

    • I wrote 8 articles and spun each one 3 times
    • For the article spinning, I used this:
    Code:
    http://mowspace.co.za/spinner/free-content-spinner.php
    • Each spin and the appropriate corrections took me 3 minutes. It's a really good spinner, and leaves you with human readable content.
Overall, it took me 7 hours solid work. Most of this was taken up in writing 8 high quality articles which could be spun easily.

As for linkwheel strategy, I will say this:

    • Your content must be human readable. You want a google user to find your web 2.0 in the SERPs, read it and then be persuaded to click the link and visit your money site. Nonsense content just won't do it. You simply cannot skimp on the content quality - it's the lynch-pin of the whole strategy.
    • Linkwheels are for traffic and SERP presence. As most web 2.0 properties employ the NoFollow tag by default, they are pretty much useless to increase the rank position of your money site.

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
