Selling Pirated DVD on egay?

I couple years ago i was selling my homemade DVDs of "Are You Afraid Of The Dark" on egay. I got away with for a few months, made a pretty penny, and had plenty of negative feedback from people who thought they were getting the official set(which didn't even exist)

Ebay didn't come down on me too hard when i got caught because there wasn't an official DVD set for that show out yet. Either way, they made me stop. Nowadays i don't think you could get away with it though.

Yup now they're VERY clever. Back then remember this was 2000 when ebay didnt use ip tracking, you didnt need a paypal or a card etc and they got me. I got a tipoff from a mate of mine the other day that my name had COME UP in FACTS computer again for having one of those 'watch satellite on your pc' sites and it was under a fake name, address and everything so they can find out pretty easily who's up to what now.

I still never hear the door go without shattin myself!

Selling pirated dvd's and keeping the stash in your own house? How stupid is that??
What a dumb 16 year old...

Oh and my prices beat the €10.
 
This is how I started out actually... as a freshman and sophmore in high school I made hundreds of pirated softwares, games, and Dreamcast games. I had people in the school working for me, even a strong arm lol. Needless to say an incident with my strong arm finally got me caught. My principal at the time happen to know a thing or two about pirated cds/dvds/etc and, although we're big boys now, the same thing he told me still applies: You will be dealt with. Just start a warez site and use the "user generated content" loophole. Don't get arrested/hurt.

Very interesting.

It's the same here. I've got some people working for me too.
I give them some cd's , they sell it , giving me the minimum and keeping the profit.

Any advice you could give me??
