Is there anyone out there that can offer timely and update HOW-TO information
on how-to sell ebooks and digital information products on Ebay.

If the Digital Products have to be delivered on CD / DVD that is not a problem,
but I would like to get any current information on this topic.

I welcome any hints, tactics, techniques, and tips that cover selling digital information
    products on Ebay.

Right now I dofeel that I have enough Ebooks and stuff available so there is no
    problem there.

There is just one more thing . . . I would be interested in and that is someone who
    can create GREAT Ebay listings.

    Be seeing you . . .
    :)

As long as you provide the necessary information to ebay/paypal they will unlimit your account if it gets into trouble.
Show them a mailing list or messages sent with your guides and you should be fine.

Remember, Ebayâ„¢ banned just the sale of digital products. If you burn your
ebooks or softwares with resale rights on CD, you now have high-perceive
value physical products that Ebay love.

There is a seller that sells ebooks on eBay all the time. I believe that he has over 2k in sales, and he only deals in electronic files.

Personally, I sell ebooks from time to time, and as long as you put "I will send this through USPS blah blah" they shouldn't be giving you any problems. However, there is always that one prick out to get you for any infractions.

If you are going to be selling eBooks I recommend that you sell them at $0.99 for the BIN price and if they want a hard copy, charge them $4.95 and just print out the eBook.

I've sold quite a few ebooks on eBay. I always delivered them digitally. It's technically against eBay's rules (unless your listing a classified ad), but I never got caught.

The problem is that you're not going to be competitive unless you're selling for .99c and at that rate your profits are very small. Ebay will take .13c, PayPal will take another .33c leaving you with only .53c profit per transaction. After fees, I was making $2 or $3 dollars per day off of 10 separate listings. I could've stepped it up and made like $10 per day or something, but that's just not worth it to me.

Depending on how much value your listing is some of my clients have mailed "Instruction guides" so it is technically a
    tangible item.

But it has to be worth shipping.

I am interested in this sort of thing too. it seems too easy especially with all the stuff you get get off torrents. I have just put a pdf on ebay and will let you know how it goes. I have a few questions for you though I am new to IM so thanks for your patients in advance.

Where do you buy CDs with resale rights. And what do you mean by "I will send this through USPS blah blah"?

Also could you buy/download software and just keep copying it onto a CD with resale rights, say "I will send this through USPS blah blah" to ebay and sell on an ebay account? Software is expensive so you could sell for a really competitive price and still make a decent profit.

I've been selling ebooks on ebay for the last year.
My advice? it is not worth the effort, you will make some bucks and if you create your listings the safer way, you won't get banned. But the money that you earn is very low, it will be better to use that time with a better method that you can find here on the forum.
Why I keep selling ebooks then, you might wonder? because I have the method automated and I just take a few minutes each day to send the ebooks to the buyers. If I had to start again, I won't do this again. But hey it's easy money :p hahaha
Take in mind also, that if you set your paypal to receive payments, you will be debited A LOT of money for each ebook you sell.
For example, the typical 0.99 ebooks that you can find, you will get 0.64 for each of them after the debits. That's, in my opinion, a lot of money you lose in the long run.
    Hope it helps!

I would personally take your time and spend it elsewhere. Try to sell them on craigslist or similar maybe?

How do you automate it? also do you mind saying what ebooks you sell?

By automated I mean that the little work I do is just routine, create the listing, send the ebook with a default message, and cash the money.
When I first started I was doing lots of changes, learning in the process, investing a lot of time. Now I just take action and cash the money using the experience I gathered working on this.
But again, don't think I am doing $50 a day with this, because I don't and I don't think anyone would be making that much selling ebooks.
It is good to pay for a hosting service for example, or cover basic expenses to relax your pocket just a bit :p

How the hell do you make a new thread on BHW . . . I am not sure if you have enough
posts to permit you to make new posts here on BHW.

    Well Here You Go . . .

First you need to go the Forum section that interests you, and select the sub forum
where you would like to enter your new thread.

As you enter the required section . . . look at the top of the page. You should see a small
box - Post new post here. Just click on this and there you go.

ughh.. ebay works but i use it as an advertising tool lol believe it or not i dont make money off ebay.. i simply sell knowledge at the lowest price possible which people dont mind paying .01 to .99 cents for an IDEA.. now i have spoken too much and will probably saturate ebay with my method... but if you want to know more to my strategy, PM me.

eBooks used to a be a hot commodity to sell . Believe it or not I had a good run selling them back in 09'-10'. Now if they catch, they take it down and repeated attempts will get you banned. Unless you get the resale rights and ship them on CD.

One strategy I see is that, if you wanna go blackhat - List the item as ebook on CD (will be sent through USPS, etc) to look legit for eBay and once purchase simply send a message to the buyer (Have a message ready, and just copy/paste for every buyer), asking if he/she would be more comfortable getting this ebook electronically where they can save it straight to the PC, add to a tablet or print it out immediately WITHOUT having to wait 3-6 days for the CD to arrive on mail. (Also add on the side, how a CD might wear out due to scratches, etc. as time passes unless they save the ebook on a PC anyways to protect their purchase). Also, at the end do not forget to mention that 'if they're not comfortable with this the CD is ready and in hand to be shipped otherwise.

They will always reply, since they paid for the damn thing and almost all of them will tell you to simply email the ebook to them asap, unless this person is 100 years old and have no idea about pc's, laptops and tablets. I have done this and it had worked for me and saved me time and money on shipping the damn CD.

    Hope this helps!
    Good Luck!

On the face of it, this seems like a viable idea and I will certainly think it over.

If there is no hitch it could woukd out well.

Hi there and hello to you . . .

This problem of selling eBooks on eBay and any other locations is still bugging me, and
I'm surprised that I got so little response from the members here in Black Hat World.

With the wealth of resell rights and private label rights available in eBooks plus tutorial videos, and
software, graphics I would have hoped that someone could spill the beans on selling this kind of
stuff on eBay and similar sites.

I would really be interested to hear of any locations where I can upload my eBooks and stuff and sell
them from that location. Delivery would be on Auto, without any further need of my input put.

Well . . . what do you think.

And finally does anyone have any "Fiverr" gigs with resell or plr available. I am looking for simple
tasks that can be quickly delivered without any hassle.

you have to be careful selling anything digital via PP. Often the disputes will be hard to win.
