my question is, when i am producing an ebook, what's the best way to protect it to not become like the most shared one, since we all like to earn money, so our work should be purchased not shared.

so as we all know we can put them as a pdf to protect the content, but as a matter of fact, it can still be shared around ...

does anyone has a clue how to get the best protection, is there any tool,

maybe some scripts which makes your "book" online with log-ins, and copyproof, or whatever?

You can't really protect it unless you plan on spending quite a bit of cash.

The best one is file secure pro, they block pretty much everything, but its quite expensive and may put some people off, as it would only work on a pc and is an .exe file...

Until you are making the big bucks consistently with your ebook, there is no need really.

Instead of spending so much time working on protecting the application work on you are better off plugging a few affiliate links into it and hoping that it gets shared as there really is no way to protect an ebook from getting shared around.

You can put it in the do not share list if you don't want to be shared here.

TBH if its good enough that it won't ruin your reputation by selling rewritten rubbish, then just let people share it, and fill it with affiliate links as well.

But using even using file secure pro, some1 could just read the text and rewrite it onto notepad and paste it up for people to share. There is no 100% secure system. You can get pretty close, but as soon as you share information people can copy it, they could write it down on a piece of paper then type it up later for example.

There is a way of protecting ebooks from being cut and paste. If you Google "protecting PDF files" you'll find plenty of programs that will encrypt your PDF and stop it being printed or cut & pasted.
