I have sold a mobile cell phone from China on eBay, it was dropshipped to the buyer. However, it did not work. It could neither be switched on nor could it be charged. I think battery or charger were broken. So buyer returned it to me. I contacted the Chinese company and they told me to send it back for a refund.

However, they also told me that they do not want to send any phones in future to me. Wtf??? Is it MY fault when they sell broken phones? I had to pay eBay fees for NOTHING, paypal fees for NOTHING, shipping costs to China for NOTHING and also was risking negative feedback. And now I am the idiot or what????

Then I contacted another seller asking if he sells the same phones and if he can guarantee that the phones will work. His answer was, he cannot guarantee that they will work.

What???? Is this normal in China? I think I will never get such a reply from a company in the US or in Europe. "Sorry but I cannot guarantee that the products you buy from me will work".

    It is just unbelievable ....

It's true unfortunately. I used to deal in Chinese mobiles a while back, I never dropshipped them but would have them imported in bulk and the amount of hassle it caused I just ended up taking a loss and still have a couple laying around to this day.

    Just have to move on..

Yes I also think so .... but why is everybody and their dog selling these phones on eBay? They seem to make quite a profit with this ....

I also made a profit, but everything is lost because my supplier sent broken phones. And if they cannot give a guarantee that their phones work, so why should I or anybody else buy from them???? That would be the same if you buy a new BMW and the dealer says thank you for buying but I cannot give a guarantee that the motor will be able to start ....

Yes but I am wondering why they sell crap .... everybody sends back the phones for a refund so how do they make money? In my case they did not make one cent because I also wanted back my shipping costs, so in fact they also lost $ 10 .... if this is the case all the time how can these companies survive???

they usually sell in large quantities..and if you fail you loose a large amount of money.
I usually make imports from China but i have trusted sellers and not electronic products. If not,, there is a great chance to loose the game. The business with Chinese is made FACE to FACE, to know him and his company..

Find a dropsipper in here... Just post in JV section that you are looking for reliable dropshipper.

Look for somebody from UK/Singapore/Hong Kong - they are well organized.

Do background check on dropshipper before you will use him just to protect yourself...

    Good Luck
