Looking to sell my baby. I've built this store from the ground up, put a ton of hours and hard work into it, starting back in February of 2020, and I'm ready to pass it on to someone who can take it to another level. While it's been great to me and my family, I am burned out on it and ready to test new waters.

Niche: Custom Wall Decor - Canvases, metal, wood signs - Rustic and vintage family themed.

A couple notes:

As you can see from the screenshots, initially had a ton of volume on the Shopify side, but migrated most of my efforts over to Etsy after deciding to stop using social media marketing and capitalizing on the free traffic at Etsy.

New owner could easily pick back up the volume on Shopify with professional marketing. I pay for Etsy ads, usually between $40-60 per day.

You may also pull emails from the Etsy side and add them to Facebook pixel for targeted marking with look alike audiences, etc.

Profit margin was averaging around 30% per product up until about 1 month ago where I switched to a new, cheaper variation of my main product (canvas). Average profit margin is now about 40% per sale, some products going up to 60%. I can go into detail on this if we get to it.

You must either know how to use Photoshop, be willing to learn basic Photoshop skills, or hire a freelancer who can fulfill orders for you in order to run this shop.

We do custom family name signs built off templates I've already created. I have roughly 300 different designs (a handful are non custom, most are custom templates customers may personalize), all will be yours upon purchase.

We've been in American Farmhouse Magazine and Cottages and Bungalows Magazine.

Basic order process works like this:

1 - Customer buys a custom sign. On website we have a personalization tool that allows them to fill in details. On Etsy there is a field they enter this info in upon ordering.

2 - We create the proof of artwork and either email it to them if they ordered on the website, or message it to them on Etsy if they ordered on Etsy.

3 - Customer approves the artwork, or requests changes. Usually they just approve it, rarely do people want major changes done, but it does happen every now and then.

4 - Upon approval, we forward the artwork to our print on demand print partners (we use two different ones)

5 - Order is shipped several days later and we update their order with tracking info.

- Average Revenue -

L12M: $26,230
L6M: $23,455
L3M: 19,338

- Average Profit -

L12M: $6,342
L6M: $5,238
L3M: $4,248

Like I said, our main product (canvas) has just been switched to a more cost effective option in the last few weeks, and so you can expect to make more on that than what is shown in these numbers here.

Fall and Christmas tend to do huge numbers as a lot of our items are themed for those times of year. Additionally, people love these as gifts, and many real estate agents and AirBNB types routinely purchase from us for clients and for their rentals.

You'll receive:
- Shopify store + domain
- Etsy Store
- Social Media Accounts (IG and FB)
- Email List (~12,000 + another 2000 or so that you can pull from Etsy)
- FB Marketing assets (Pixel)
- ALL artwork and the rights to it - Roughly 300 different designs, large majority are custom templates that customers personalized, while a handful are ready made with no customization necessary.

I will teach you how to run the business so that you may run it yourself, or so that you may hire someone. This entire business can be run by a freelancer while you manage from above, easily. I am hands on, and this was my creation, so I chose to do it all myself.

I think this business could be improved by:
- Adding more seasonal designs, covering more holidays
- Varying the style of artwork you sell. Most of my stuff is vintage, farmhouse, country themed. Other styles exist that could be profitable for you
- Hiring a professional marketing firm to run FB, IG, TikTok ads and more.

Asking: $240,000

No refund will be given once transfer of assets is completed. Transfer will be conducted through an escrow service, preferably escrow.com

Interesting site.

Why did the profit went from $6k L12M to $4.2k L3M ?

Also, why didnt' you just add Etsy instead of replacing Shopify with Etsy? You could run Shopify AND Etsy at the same time. I don't understand why changing one way to another.

After you changed to Etsy, what was more profitable, Shopify or Etsy?

Why did you stop social media marketing?

Why didn't you just redirect traffic from social media to your Etsy store? Wouldn't that bring more revenue?

And final question, what's the traffic source, jus Etsy ads?

Thank you.

I'm not sure why profit dropped. Been a bit of an enigma to me that I haven't been able to crack.

I have Shopify and Etsy both going. Etsy makes more sales.

Stopped social media marketing because I wasn't happy with results. Couldn't achieve the insane numbers I was getting in the beginning and got frustrated and tried to focus more on organic stuff + Etsy's free traffic (and their cheap paid ads)

Social media does point to Etsy store usually.

Traffic source for the Etsy store is Etsy ads plus organic Etsy search (some customers come from Google too).

Traffic for Shopify store is organic and email marketing.

Interesting. I would wait 6-12 months to see if the traffic is seasonal or not. As sometimes, profits drop is due to seasonality.

This will pick up again on the run up to the Christmas and the new year season.

Well I've had the store for 2.5 years. I know for a fact it's seasonal. I do really well during the fall and really well right before Christmas. Summer is really pretty much dead but I tried to curb that a bit this year with some summer themed stuff. It worked out okay but as the items are on the expensive side, I imagine people are probably finding it tough to justify spending this kind of money on such trivial stuff given the current economic climate.

is it possible to check the domain, if possible sent me pm with details.

Can you send me details in PM I might be interested.
