    Hey all,
Just wondering what thoughts are on selling ads on autoblogs. Do any of you do it, and what sort of traffic does the blog get that you're able to sell ads on? Do you think PR makes a difference to the advertisers, etc?

Why wouldn't you just put up Google Adsense ads or some banners for CJ or other affiliate networks by yourself?

I've never tried to sell ad space on an autoblog but as someone who has bought ad space before I wouldn't pay too much for space on a blog with other peoples content all over it.

I've got the usual a/s and affiliate banners running, but I was quite curious to see if anyone had tried using ad sales as an additional income stream. Technically it would fit into the existing banner display system but give an up-front cash injection for the site if it worked. It was just a thought...

I just posted a thread about this here. (My first search I didn't see this thread). Anyone else doing this now? I just see this being a Gold mine if you have hundreds of sites! Can anyone share some ideas? (Thanks in advance :)

I've sold a few spots on 2 autoblogs, actually, since posting this. Part of a link building effort on another user's behalf.

Use oiopublisher to automate the sales. If any of your blogs have a PR1+ and verifiable traffic, you could probably sell some df links or even banners.

Hasn't made me much yet, but if I didn't have the option, I wouldn't have made a couple hundred $ on banners...every bit counts. ;)

This reminds me of the 'make a site with some random BS, buy traffic to lower Alexa rank, sell ad space and use proxies to click them' method. Is this still viable?
