I've been searching for a couple of hours here and I can't find much. I see though that CJ wants you to have at least $50k per year and a years worth of selling experience to be able to be considered for an advertiser account with them. If you just have one product, and you have a landing page, billing solution, etc. -- is there any room for a newbie as far as getting accepted as an advertiser with an affiliate company, or is every company going to require that you have decent proven profits before taking you on?

Do you just set up the site and apply at all of them and hope one bites? Any idea of what kind of cuts the affiliates want? I assume special affiliate software or database or something is needed so they can track who sold what?

Anyone able to point me in the direction of a forum or something for this? lol. When I google terms, all I come back with is spam, and affiliate publisher info, not getting any real ground. Any and all help totally appreciated and thanks in advance :D

You should talk to your AM. Last year I talked my maxbounty AM about becoming an advertiser and he said you just have to have deep pockets so you can pay the network on time. As long as you can pay the network on their schedule, they will probably let you in.

"Any idea of what kind of cuts the affiliates want?" Depends on the product.. "I assume special affiliate software or database or something is needed so they can track who sold what?" well if you get on a network you will use their tracking, if you want to start your own program for your product you will have to get your own.

Awesome, that actually covers a lot for me. Glad to know that the network covers the tracking. That was one part that I had absolutely not even a shred of an inkling about. Thanks a ton :)
