I want to create a digital product in the fitness industry.
I know there are many out there, related to training programs, gym, muscle building, weight loss etc.
My idea is related to creating programs, but with a different vision behind it, I really believe people will enjoy.
I already have a great name for it, bought the domain, building it up, going to make high quality videos, detailed and quality content, follow all the basic footsteps that I know and hope to learn in the process.

Do you think fitness will keep growing in the upcoming years?
How much do you think would be needed in advertising for this idea? It will be key for having any success.
If you could give any advice related to digital products what would it be?
I find it amazing how clients can receive their products via email, simple and effective.

    Thank you.

Fitness will definitely keep growing. For advertising, it depends who you are marketing to, will probably have to spend a little no matter what though, especially in the fitness niche.

    >Do you think fitness will keep growing in the upcoming years?

It's been doing pretty well for the last 200,000 years, so it's probably a safe niche.

    >If you could give any advice related to digital products what would it be?

If you haven't already done so, think about your monetization method. Is it a one-time purchase of a course/eBook/other? Subscription to a service? Advertising revenue from videos? Some combination of these? Make sure that you have a well-designed plan to actually collect the money from your users.

A one time course for different levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced) all programs set for 30 days.
There will be around 12 courses.

Fitness for fit people or selling the dream of fitness to unfit people?
Both are a growing market, one is growing WAY faster.

My plan is to target both, but mostly on selling the dream of fitness to unfit people

    Nope.
    You'll fail.

Focus on one, don't spread yourself thin.
Do you think Nordictrack has been around because fit people keep buying treadmills that are just slightly different? Or is some 200lb mama convinced if she switches from the Nordictrack ski machine to the Nordictrack treadmill she will actually, finally be interested in working out.

    Thanks for the support!
What platforms would you suggest for advertising?
And how much do you think will be needed to have a chance of making it work?
    Thanks!

Does anyone have any idea how much money I will need for advertising at the start?

I wouldn't even concern yourself with advertising yet. Build up a Facebook community, offer advice, encourage people to partner up, challenge each other, track progress. Worth millions!

It depends on the marketing strategy you choose. Even you can start with $50 and with the best strategy and service you can go till $2000.
To survive and become a reputable one, you have to move with the organic way that boosts your product exposure to trust.
Whatever service you provide, when it comes to the dais, CONTENT IS THE KING. Do have quality content, do use Fb, Twitter, Instagram shares which drives the natural traffic.

Partner with large regional gyms and let them brand it. You can partner or do a licensing deal with them.

You would have hundreds of thousands of people that were already trusting the gym and certainly a good bunch to target.

The gyms could make access to the program/App an add on a monthly fee to their registration (Best business model) or make it a one off.

Fitness will never die throw in words like " keeping fit" "diet the right way" "loose weight with my fitness plan "

There so many ways to monitize fintness niche....

    Good luck .
