Selfish US Douchebag to Sell His Dog and Home on eBay

A US man is having a sale on Ebay which includes :-

'Buy my American Dream!': Man puts ALL his worldly possessions (including his dog) up for sale on eBay for $3.5 million

? Shane Butcher, 29, is selling everything he owns for $3.5million
? Video-game business owner says he wants to start over and see the world
? Shane Butcher isn't broke, divorced or depressed, he just wants to get rid of his entire life so he can start a new one... with the $3.5million he hopes to make from the sale of his former self.
? Mr Butcher, 29, has put his three video-game stores, his two Florida homes, his three cars, three kayaks, and a Thomas Kinkade painting up for sale on eBay for $3.5million dollars to whomever wants to live out his 'American Dream.'
? He hopes to use the money to travel and start a new life with his wife, as well as start a family back in Florida once they've had their fair share of the world.

Mr Butcher also wants to sell his two-bedroom, 1 1/2 bath town home that overlooks the water in Tampa Bay, located in a luxury waterfront community with three pools, two hot tubs, two gyms and private beaches.

His three cars, a 2009 Honda Accord, 2004 Honda Element and a 2006 Lotus Elise, come with the 'Dream' too.

You would have thought given all the money he has, that the least he could have done is find his dog a new home where he can be loved and cared for, and gift the dog to the people as a way of saying thanks for providing a new home for the dog!

Some people are without feeling and compassion they live a life where all that matters to them is money!

The best you can do is set your own standards. There is
nothing we can do about the way some people conduct
    their lives.

    I have read about this.

He must really love his wife, or he would have included her in the auction. lol :p

Spot on he may well live to regret abandoning the dog and keeping the ‘carving knife' wife because when she turns she will want the money:eek:

He probably realized that instead of him owning his stuff and life, his stuff and life is owning him. It sounds to me like he is yearning for freedom. Something all of us at BHW strive for.

3 video stores (a rapidly dying industry) and some average cars for $3.5 m. Seems a bit expensive. Perhap his home as awesome.

People sell dogs/cats/animals all the time. I think you're taking it too personally, not everyone will have the same views as you do.

Steelballs, don't mean to upset you, but when I am going traveling next February, I am getting rid of my cats.

If there was no one to sell dogs, how would you ever buy one?
