This is the second year I am struggling to get my website in google's 1st page after the fall due to Penguin update. Following are the works I did for my website keralatourismpackages.co.in
    #Removed all back links,
#Used disavow tool to suppress other can't remove links,
    #site design modified this year,
#created two blogs - one blog created in blogger and redirected as blog.keralatourismpackages.co.in and other blog is the WordPress module as a part of website keralatourismpackages.co.in/blog. Updating blog posts weakly once and sharing in social medias. All posts have good count of likes and plus
    # site has well maintained profiles in all main social media sites

After all these, still no improvement in site ranking. Blogs already listed in 3rd page for some low competitive keywords and not improving that too. Can anyone suggest what I have to do?

What about building links? Did you restart link building? If not start building links again, but be very careful this time, try with lowest OBLs possible and also try to make links where traffic is also generated, like popular forums... also keep the forum profiles active. I successfully brought out 2 websites after being hit by G updates, currently I am working on another penalized website, the client is from BHW itself.

    All the best.

Totally agree with beauxesprits. If you've removed all your links then its no wonder your not ranking. You need to strart again with your link building. There are still loads of directory sites with good PR and I think you can assuem now after 4 releases of Penguin if they've maintaned their PR then they're pretty penguin proof

Yeh, get some niche related authority links!! there are plenty of packages on here. Look for contextual links that are niche related and then monitor your rankings!

I don't know if you're using Wordpress.org, but if you are, it is designed to Fuck You Over with Attachment Pages!

Make sure the Attachment Pages have a 301 redirect to the parent post... And if you upload a Logo, Favicon, which have no parent post (you cannot redirect to homepage as far as I can tell), then edit the Logo and Favicon attachment pages and set them as noindex manually...

Apparently there is a plugin that redirects attachment pages to parent post, and if there is no parent post then it redirects to homepage...

But for example I already have yoast's plugin that takes care of the attachment pages with a parent post, so I'm not gonna install an extra plugin just to redirect 2 pages (Logo and Favicon) to the homepage... I simply edit these 2 individual posts, set to noindex and nofoIIow, and call it a day. :)

I'm not sure the logos and favicon can have a big impact on his site's SEO...

Agreed, it's probably the last thing on his list, at the very bottom... But, why not fix All 100 problems instead of fixing 98? :p hahaha
