Hello folks, I have been around for a little while and i'm learning more and more as i go
The point of this thread as the title says is to get advice and Ideas from other people as there are many experienced gentlemen here who are an inspiration to us and push us to hustle and reach their level and maybe go beyond.

I am 19, student living with my parents.(Studying tuition paid, living costs paid)
I have already formed few ideas to create a business online and i'm working and testing. I have $100 as initial cash to afford hosting/domain name and additional tool if needed. Will manage to invest more in the future.
My idea is IG + Dropshipping method and i will give it 6 months or even year to judge if profitable or not!

My request is, What do you think would be beneficial to do and learn this year, and the next in my learning path to bank decently later? And ANY advice/tips are welcome
    Thanks for your time. cheers!

Dropshipping is good idea but risky too... You can't trust any dropshipper blindly.... Moreover you will be facing your client and not a dropshipper... Many times it happens that dropshippers provide long lists of goods and when we get any order and contact them they says the items is not in stock.... So to stay safe put ads of those items which you can buy easily from market by yourself... As you said you have budget of 100$.. You can have quite enough cheaper goods and items and post the ad on amazon, ebay, bonanza, alibaba etc.... put an ad and once you get an order just buy the item and deliver it... but make sure you include your shipping charge in your selling price itself and put shipping as free.... because on most of the online b2b and b2c sites people are looking for free shipping items rather than their purchase rate... :D

@hirenshinde Thanks brother for your post, i noted all those tips. And i forgot to mention that my source will be AliExpress and will do it on a website using woocommerce then advertise it in IG with follower base of 20k spread across 3 accounts. Seems like a good plan i guess
    Another question :
What are the sources of Free traffic that would convert ?

First one craiglist, second twitter and third facebook... If you put it on a website then you can always that website as your forum signature in most of the forums.

Don't waste time chasing "money making methods" and build a business that provides actual value people will pay you for.
Something I wish I understood when I was your age.

Man fuck that short term shit. You know why there are so many people entering that market here on BHW? Because it's easy. You know why there are so few success stories? Because it isn't all sunshine and rainbows.

You're 19. Get real. Start a small business online branding firm. First thing's first. Think of a unique business name.

Take that $100 and split it up like such:

Go to Dreamhost: https://www.dreamhost.com/hosting/shared/. Pick the monthly shared hosting. You get a free domain. How about that. Your business. DOT COM. Set up the hosting. It's $10.95 a month. So you've got about $89 left right off the bat, but you're on a solid web host and you've got your domain name.

Hop over to Fiverr. Grab a $10 logo from this guy: https://www.fiverr.com/gigblast/des...1&funnel=5db971d2-45b4-4158-9bac-6f062e0e382c. Been using him a lot. He should be charging a lot more than he does. Put in your requirements and what you want it to look like and wait.

Now you've got about $78 left. Hang on to it for a bit.

In the couple days it takes to get your logo back, install Wordpress on your domain name. And get the X theme. There's a cracked version on here somewhere. Or you can cough up the $66 to support an awesome theme like I do. Let's assume you don't.

Install the Agency demo. Here is what it looks like: http://demo.theme.co/agency/. Fuckin' solid. Do you know HTML and CSS? No? That's fine, this is pretty intuitive and not code heavy whatsoever. Use their Cornerstone framework and customize the shit outta the theme. Make it your own. Spend a couple days on this.

At this point you've got your logo back. Look good? Good. Slap it up on your site, right at the top. Now make a Facebook and Twitter. Follow a bunch of local businesses on Twitter once you've pimped your profile out. Do the same on Facebook. Connect one account to the other. Link to them both on your website. Write a couple articles about small business online branding. Spend some time actually learning what to do.

Read around the forums. Read 7878's ORM method. It works for multiple verticals. Spin that. Hunt down some clients by seeing what local businesses have shit websites but still operate legitimate businesses and may have cash to burn.

Take another $50 from the $78 you have left and pump it into some Facebook advertising for your business. Whether it be ads for your site or looking for local area likes on your page. Doesn't matter.

Get contract templates and customize them to fit your needs. There's templates all over. Some even on BHW. I won't link them. Find them yourself. The thrill of the chase.

Connect your phone to a Google Voice number. Put that number up on your site. If you want to seem legitimate, shell out the money to get a PO Box somewhere where the address will be Suite ### instead of PO Box ###. Put that address on your site. Add them both to your Facebook and Twitter. Start a Google Local listing. Verify the address via the box. It doesn't matter where you say it is. You'll be meeting clients at coffee shops, etc.

From there, it's just a matter of selling clients. Sell them well enough, you can close deals for thousands a month for a year minimum. How do I know this? Because I've done it. I'm still doing it. I'm killing it. You can too. Start early and reap the rewards bro. Get off the Instagram drop shipping bullshit game.

If you've got questions, PM me. NOBODY ELSE. Christ. Just OP.

I'l going to take the above and make a massive thread in the future. Once I've got a few hours to do some writing. Maybe Sunday. Maybe next week. Stay tuned motherfuckers.

OP, I hope you heed this advice. Don't get blinded by the pennies while chasing the dollars.

This works for me as well. I'm 20 and just started my first ever online business a month ago (though I had several online gigs before that). If I had know this sooner, I should have started earlier. But hey, I'm still young and so are you. What I'm trying to say is that look for "the one" you love doing so you won't have to work a single day of your life. :)
