I'm seeing this type of traffic every 3 days or so in my Statcounter:
Google (66.249.83.137) 0 returning visits
us.png

Mountain View, California, United States

It's coming from a Google search most of the time, just like regular traffic.

This doesn't seem to be the Googlebot either, since that one is labeled "Googlebot" in Statcounter.

If it's not the Googlebot, it could be:
- Either a manual reviewer
- Or an employee searching on the web just like everyone else

The thing is, it seems to be a regular occurrence. I haven't noticed traffic drops after these visits though. At least not yet :D

You should be glad you haven't experienced any drop in traffic. Now is a good time to correct any mistakes you may have made SEO-wise just in case so it won't fall out of favour with Google.

So you are saying those might be manual reviewers after all?

To be honest, I don't have much corrections to make but delete the links from my PBN, as those are the only links I have built. At least that's what the red flag could be in my opinion. I have some 30 PBN domains, and while they are all on WP, they have different themes and unique content that I've written myself, or resurrected content from the archive.

its a googlebot. they are coming every-time you make change on your website. Nothing to worry about.

So not all googlebots may be labeled as such? Looks like they spider their own search results and coming to that one page that's in the search results ...

SEO Power, you scare me. I'd hit the thanks button on your answer, if you cared to explain some more :)
