Any idea if an update has launched for Yahoo & Bing over the past few days? I've noticed some very interesting behavior that is synchronized with Yahoo and Bing, but NOT Google over the last 24 hours. It would appear that they have rolled something out, but even my large cache of keywords isn't enough to verify this.

On a related note I have to wonder why so much to-do is made over every little Google update, while Bing and Yahoo updates are completely ignored. That seems to be leaving a lot of money on the table. Yet I see so many threads bitching about how people can only rank in 1 of the 3 engines. If you're ignoring any of the 3 you're being stupid IMO.

I could not agree more. My conversion rate through Bing blows Google out of the water. Sadly, Bing does not send much traffic. But what traffic they do send converts like gangbusters.

Exactly. Bing or Yahoo can be great money makers depending on your niche...... yet people often ignore then while they obsess over every little fart google makes.

I got a spike couple of my sites, not sure if its Bing update or natural movement. I actually like Bing and the traffic I get. I agree with above, also my conversions are great but the traffic amount is small. We should not ignore neither the fact that G is having most traffic nor the great possibilities Bing/Yahoo offer.

    I completely agree.

I have noticed that Bing doesn't respond to backlinks the same way. You could get high quality backlinks and have great results with Bing. Lately, it will send you backwards.

On one of my websites, it dropped back 5 pages on Bing and jumped 8+ pages on Google. Usually you have to wait a month or 2 before Bing responds, but 4 months later, nothing.

It is getting harder to please Bing.
