Seeing Boost in Impressions. Need Expert's Suggestions

During the December 2024 Core Update , I am seeing a boost in Impressions. Now I am seeking helpful guidance for what to do next..

To keep your boost, focus on quality content, user intent, internal linking, and backlinks to ensure it stays effective.

I also saw same thread here where it got boost from a dead website.

Try to improve the ranking of keywords that get more Impressions, I suggest you do off-page SEO for those links.

What is your site about? Everyone giving you advices, without knowing what is your site is about and what kind of impressions are those, are posting so they can show banner in their signature.

Your website/pages are more exposed in the SERPs now, that's good for you,
The average position/clicks are not as good, you're ranking on page 2 for most of the URLs,
You have to push the pages to page 1 at least if you want more clicks/traffic, it's mostly a matter of authority,
Nothing magical to do specifically here, keep adding more content, optimizing the overall on-page, and invest in some good links

I do care about what I tell people, so I don't agree with your take.

Also, many times there is general type of advice that you can give to people and which can be helpful for their sites. It's true that google treats different sites and different keywords, across different niches differently. But these differences usually amount to like 10-20% of the total SEO, the other 80-90% is general advice that applies to everyone, so it's possible that this applies to OP's case too (which actually does since he's been impacted by the new update)

not much you can do yet OP. Just wait for 1-2 weeks after the update finishes so you can see where your site stabilizes in the SERPs and based on that info keep working on your site's content and link building, and keep adjusting things as you figure out ways to improve your rankings.

My site is a blog platform on multi niche category like business, finance , banking , legal , etc

Is this maybe old-google news domain? Did you check that?
Anyhow, keep doing on it, do proper on-page...nothing much we can help you this way.
