In this tutorial I'll share my experience and a very important solutions you can apply right away to boost your sales and conversions.

I see too many websites ending up just being info-sites while they could be effective selling machines. It's also something I learned from my experience.

    My experience
Back in 2010-2011 when I started out I had a few Adsense blogs and they just had a bunch of articles on them. The plan was to rank them top 10 in google for various low/medium volume keywords and get a bunch of clicks on Adsense.

That didn't work so well... Simply because the content was just re-writing of boring articles and how-to's. The content wasn't much better than that of my competition. So who in the world would bother reading it... That was my greatest mistake.

    What I've learned
People want to read EXCLUSIVE content.

There is SOOOOO much information out there, so why would anyone take extraordinary interest in your blog if it's mediocre and written by an average writer!?

It may help you rank in Google, but come one... we are in the business of SELLING, and to sell you have to be unique!

So then I started running blogs with VIP content. The plan was to lock 80% of the content, so they can only read the introduction (first couple of paragraphs). And then make them sign up and pay a VIP membership to read the entire article.

    VALUE
This was VERY SUCCESSFUL. Why? Because if you PAY for something, you RESPECT it much more, you VALUE what you've just purchased. If you get things for free, it doesn't have any value.

If you pay $500 for a one year membership to a certain "VIP" website, where you'll learn the secrets, you will definitely prefer it over another blog in the same niche where all the tutorials & articles are free... The quality of the content may be exactly the same, but just because you had to put down money, you have been sold. That's how business works.

I am not saying you should all lock your sites. It may hurt your SEO. But you could sell exclusive/VIP (limit offer) e-books for instance and bundle the information from your site. That's a great thing to do!

If you're looking for a good membership plugin, I have always used this partner:
    https://premium.wpmudev.org/
(I'm not affiliated with them in any way, but they are great!)

If you have questions or twists, share them below :)
    Cheers!
    Ilya

Loved your approach, if I am not wrong many people are not the traditional content locking these days but what you have presented here is something that is passive and should yield money for years to come.

The fact that you respect more what you pay is entirely true. I came to this conclusion few years ago when paying for stuff made me want to consume it more than free stuff, because you want to be profitable and get all the value of your money.

    Hi all!

I'm using the membership pro: https://premium.wpmudev.org/project/membership/
    Works like a charm.

If you think of charging $5, then what actually should do is charge $50.
If you ask for $5 then I'll think you're a guru ebook scammer. Because, what value can I get for $5? At starbucks that's just a coffee.
But if I had to pay $50 per month I am going to think what you're offering is VERY valuable, and I WANT it.
    Makes sense?

For past several days, I am looking for money making methods. Many GURUs on BHW here have shared excellent money making methods. They share everything but just tell us to use ever green niche or CPA offers that convert. And for NOOBS like me, we get stuck there.

Please guide us in some aspect of KW or how we can find it. Please

    I think you're confused bro.

Business is always a transaction. One person sells something, another one buys something.
CPA is business; someone gives money to the CPA company, and they list ads/offers so that affiliates can promote them.

Your job is to find a place to promote those offers on, to the right people in the right place.
You can always try to play the SEO game, but if you don't know what you're doing, you're just wasting your time.

Yeah I was clear on that but could not write it properly. For the idea you are presenting, how do you research the niche before starting the website?

The key to researching excellent ideas lies with understanding what is in demand by your target market.
Use a top to bottom approach. Example, I use a topic on Gaming. Using mindmap I would branch out to gaming tips, gaming guide, gaming cheat, gaming strategy, gaming preview, etc. Next focus on the USP for each topic to derive sub topic. Example, Gaming Guide - Angry Bird -> USP= How to clear level 125 with one shot. By being very focus on a specific selling point, you do not need to build backlink, Google will simply award you with search engine traffic. My personal blog is getting traffic from search engine with ZERO link building and ZERO keyword research.

Focusing on content is much more important than link building and keyword research. Bearing in mind that search engine objective is to bring things that people want to read about. So if your content is wanted by market, there will be natural demand for your contents and traffic would flow naturally.

Look at what @MaFiaStyle wrote below you.
I don't start blogs out of research, I started them out of experience and passion.
In my case, I'm a programmer/developer, so I create software and sell it. This comes with complementary exclusive content.
Then you need to find places to promote your products on, for me that's communities where people talk about tools & methods (such as BHW for instance).

Before you can sell something, your life needs to be part of whatever you are trying to create. If you don't understand your audience, then you won't be successful.
You can't sell medicine if you don't know a doctor... You don't need to be a doctor yourself, but you need to be surrounded by people who are.

If thats the case then I have 3 things in my life that I am very good at,

    1. Meditation .
    2. Pistol Shooting ( National Player).
    3. Maximizing Sports performance.

I can make a membership website, ebooks, forum on these. Is that a good idea? I believe so.
