I started a Christmas site last January and it is ranking very well now... You may be a little late for that and you are definitely too late for Halloween.
Yeah, I realize that Halloween is a bit late to be talking about now unless I use some quick hit black hat stuff or other methods to get some quick results.
I did pretty well for black friday and xmas last year and I'll probably tune up a couple of old sites and also see what is hot this year.

are you guys selling xmas type products on these holiday sites? How are you monetizing? what's your content?

I am offering a business opportunity that centers around Christmas... CB and adsense drive the money train. It is actually a page on one of my Bizop sites so I'll get traffic to that page and in turn those visitors will hit other pages on that site.
