Set up a site like this - use freelancer sites to broker if you don't trust customers.

I am financing my internet business set up costs by writing - having a decent site and getting people to visit you FIRST is the best way to go if you are writing.

Done quite a few business plans. Simple templates available to download all over the place. SOme very nice ones too.

Customize, used form filler tool, takes about 30 minutes to do a top notch business plan - sell for between £25 and £35. I'd do them all day If I could. Could make £2000 a week just with these simple things. Sadly there just aren't enough to go round.

End up writing a lot of articles and posts and earning less than £150 a day. Still it beats a normal job hands down (write 20 x 300 word articles a day to earn this much, includes adding photos and posting on my clients blogs and a little link building as well)

Now fund internet business by writing.

It's not as nice as making money the "proper" internet way -but it beats any regular job i've ever had - and pays a whole lot better.

Competing straight at the broker sites is a complete waste of time. Far east guys are willing to work a ten hour day for 8 dollars. If you are happy to lower your wage to that, then fine - if you want an actual living wage for the western world, then I seriously recommend setting up your own website and using it as a portal.

If you are doing business plans, have some examples, reviews and a profile.
Use professional templates. Pay for them if you want - though you can get them other ways. Set up good form filling tools to complete them. Always proof read. Offer CV's and Ebooks alongside this.

Remember - the client does 75% of the writing.

Don't second guess his business, it's up to him to give you the details!

I've had a couple of twats wanting full financial consultancy. The client provides most of the meat of the plan. You tidy, format, add fluff and presentation.

Same go for CV's. If they don't tell you they've got a Ph.D how are you supposed to know?

My best work was a 32 page e-book that took me two days to write and fetched me three thousand dollars - a very rare thing - but ace when it happens.

Be prepared to do presentation. Have a cover generator (or use photoshop)
Use images, format pages, keep style consistent throughout. A great writing money earner

End of the day for me, writing is paying for me to progress in "normal" business cause I had literally zero start up. Had to use rent money to buy first hosting account and a couple of tools.

Glad I did in the end.

    Good luck

    Scritty
