    Good morning,

I need a good source to search for companies. Something like Yahoo Local or Angies List, where I can find the businesses ordered by categories and their website, so far they got one.

The problem with the sources called above is that they are ordered very bad. If I search for a specific category I found much more then that. Also the companies are duplicated multiple times.

So anyone knows a great source for what I need? Simple overview of as much companies as possible with their websites.

    Best regards

dun and bradstreet is the ULTIMATE source, although its impossible to get the list for nothing. They are very comprehensive, and organised brilliantly. You can possibly "borrow" the dvd from your local library, or maybe by now they offer lists at reasonable prices.

Maybe good just to build the lists yourself from yell and yahoo?

As someone who creates my own scrapers, I hear you regarding badly organized biz listings. I'll encounter loads of duplicate results but just delete them once the details are harvested.
