Hello folks,

I am seeing the major difference between Bing/Yahoo and Google rankings. I'm talking top 3 in Bing/Yahoo but number 40+ in Google.
I have a very high (95 mobile, 100 desktop) page speed score and good quality content, but very few backlinks. (at least HQ)
Anyone knows if backlinking will help that at all or if there is something else I should look into?

Good backlinks will always help.

You should always build more and more no matter what.

I believe you have good quality content but, unfortunately, it's not us who make that decision if something is good or bad.

If you have some money to invest in good backlinks, do it, but first, do some research about what you need to know before that.

Another option is to always build yourself.

Anyway, no one can't tell for sure what exactly you need, you have to build it and test different sources of links, wait some time to see what will happen, and at the same time, you will learn something new on that journey or simply pay someone to build new web 2s for you.

I've been building web 2s for over 2 years now and having in mind what Google is doing, they've shown some nice results overall, to be honest.

You should make a proper keyword research & competitor analysis to check what you gonna need to actually rank,
If your on-page is similar (slightly better) to the top-ranking results/websites & matching the user search intent, then all you gonna need is links,
When it comes to how much you'll need, just check the top-ranking 5-10 pages/websites links

Content is the King mate
Good content and extensive keyword research
