I've just been reading up a little on shaving and scrubbing and trying to understand how it works on the merchant and network end of things. I think I've read about Direct Track and HitPath platforms coming with shave features. I wondered if there were some way for an affiliate to set something up either on their side or to request for their AM to somehow place something somewhere in order to test a pixel firing. Is that at all possible? If so, how would an affiliate go about doing this for anything they feel suspicious of without filling in the leads themselves? I'm now learning how higher payouts don't really mean much if say 6 of your 9 leads for example are used to cover those higher payouts in other ways that you'll never see. Maybe some network owners or former AMs can chime in.
