Does Google recognize and give credit for embedded links in pdf (etc) documents on Scribd?

SCRIBD is good for taking up real estate in the search engines but it is not that great for linking in my tests.

Although you won't get credits for your links in the pdf's you submit to SCRIBD,
Google loves SCRIBD.

Currently there is over 10,000,000 indexed pages from SCRIBD in Google. Google literally "camps out" on this site, so it's great for grabbing top positions for your keywords.

^^yep but links inside pdf won't be indexed, google doesn't crawls the inside of the pdf. It's a pretty good place to grab some decent traffic if done correctly

Dang, they deleted all of my 5 pdfs .. they don't even contain aff links. Only link to my site in the 1st paragraph..All articles are unique content
