Just search for Meatrix in googles video section! You will find it for sure, its just a few minutes and worth it.

I am always interested in these questions: how many people around this board are vegetarians / vegans?

I create a pool and I am really curios to see the results.

Dont want to start a discussion here, at least Im not planing to participate ;)

You didn't give an option in your poll for me.

I was a vegetarian from about 1994 till about 1997, but been happily eating meat since then. I didn't care about the little animals though, lol. I was only doing it for dietary reasons based on the McDougal program. Google it if you don't know what that is. It was easy to do when I was living in a major city, but when I moved to a smaller city it was just to hard to pass up all the barbeques. :cool2:

I still eat a carb based diet though, just don't totally cut out all the meat and dairy anymore.

Every time I see pork chops, my sub-lingual frenulum are jizzing all over the place. Meat is just too delicious to pass up.

I'm borderline carnivorous. You might need to add an option for those of us that eat more meat than anything else, lol.

I try to eat 2 different animals a day. But I also do get a lot of fruits and vegetables in my diet too. I am trying to put on a lot of muscle mass, so I do need lots of vitamins, minerals, calories, and proteins.

I drink pretty much either water or milk, and have absolutely no soda at all.

You guy should check out what the big companies are doing to your fruits and vegetable to make the food look greener, redder, last longer, grow bigger etc.!

You would not eat it if you knew how they were grown and what was put in that stuff.

Escape the Fruitrix ... eat air.

    Rolf.... check out the stats.....

I voted for cheeseburgers too by the way.

I eat anything, salads are great! huge roast is great! potatoes are great!

Life is pointless if you dont enjoy eating, also pure rawfood destroyes sex drive in men in long run, not sure about women.

You know you can build plenty of muscle mass without eating animal meat right?

I don't know why everyone has such a hard-on for protein in our society, and animal protein at that. Gorillas are some of the strongest, leanest creatures in the animal kingdom and they follow a complete plant-based diet while occasionally eating insects. Oh yeah, and they share 99% of the same DNA as humans do.

If something that is 99% similar to us in their DNA can build all that muscle eating plants, fruits, and nuts all day, then why do humans feel they need all this meat?

Sorry to get off-topic, but it's just one of those things that bother me because I'm really into working out/bodybuilding and I hear people give me shit all the time for not eating meat. I always get asked "well how do you get your protein?". Funny that I'm way stronger than these people too and I consume no animal meat at all. I'm gonna start asking "well how do you get your vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants?"

So to answer the question of this poll, no I do not consume animal meat and I rarely even have dairy. The only milk I drink is almond milk and I probably eat cheese 2-3 times a month. I hate using the words "vegetarian" and "vegan", so let's say I follow a plant-based diet.

Yeah fuck monsanto. I was watching Food Inc. and I can't believe the shit they are trying to pull. Even our government sides with them. That's just proof that the goal of our government is to make sure we're all as unhealthy as possible so we have to spend more on doctor bills and medications.

I love eating meat, I think it's how the food chain works in the natural world.

The Roman and British empires didn't get their army so strong by nibbling on celery, the lions didn't evolve to be a strong, deadly animal by crunching carrots.

All that said, I always buy free range or organic food, and believe in providing a good life for the animal. The battery farms are not only disrespectful to the animal, they are disrespectful to customers who are unaware of buying a food product that's of a poor quality and pumped full of chemicals.

I'm lucky in my local area, there's a lot of great farms, free range corn-fed chicken, duck e.t.c... Chef Ramsay takes a few hundred ducks down to his London restaurant from my village every week. Not only are the animals treated with respect, but it's a great product that is good for you.

Guys, I suggest you to watch a documentary called Earthlings. Google it. It is much better than Food Inc. in terms of animal welfare education.

well damn its great to see some fellow vegetarians here. every type of protein (theres around 20 i think) is found in some form of food other than dairy/meat.

well, i try to eat organic/locally grown most of the time, plus, have you checked out what they put in meat? lol

check this guy out. yes early in his career he did steriods and had good jeans, but regardless its a feat - he was vegetarian the last few years of his BB career and won a few gold medals as well i believe - personal idol of mine

    bill pearl

this cover is from 1978, he became a vegetarian in 1969
