Hi guys, I am thinking of using scrapebox to scrape for TLD expired domains for my country and perhaps common TLD like .com, .org, .net etc.

1)Hence, what you guys think about scrapebox vs domain hunter gatherer?

2)Also, I have a proxy qn regarding using scrapebox. Do I need to pay for the proxy or is there any free proxy that I could use to scrape for expired domains? As I saw that scrapebox can scrape for proxy?

3)Also, do you guys have good tutorial on how to use scrapbox to scrape for expired domains?

Hope that someone can advise me on this.. As I am worried that once I bought the scrapbox, I do not know how to use it and the proxy too. Thanks!

Do a search for scrapebox tutorials an dyou will find hundreds in this forum.

Domain hunter gatherer can be easy to get working on than scrapebox, the learning curve is much easier with that.

If you are going to need a lot of domains, start with Domain Hunt Gatherer. IF you just need 10-20, scrapebox.

Scrapebox itself has a pretty awesome built-in proxy scraper.

Domain Hunter Gatherer was build for search expired, dropped, expired soon domain either TLD domain or web 2.0

Scrapebox it's named and build for scrape links, proxys, ip address, check pr, find exipred domain and much more

And so on, try using the search box first before you making a thread, this forum had a lot of thinks that you want for sure...

I would use Scrapebox, its easy to use and just google for tutorials, there are loads.

You should spend $10 and get some shared or a few private proxies. You can scrape public proxies but they are going to return so many errors your likely to miss a lot of good domains. For scraping engines in mass you can use public proxies, but when accuracy matters, as it does in this case, you will want to use private proxies. Although if your not using loads of connections you might not even need proxies for doing expired domains.

Scrapebox is just a one time fee and can do pretty much everything and a lot more as compared to Domain Hunter Gatherer. On the other hand, Domain Hunter Gatherer is created specifically just for finding expired domains and have a streamlined process.

If you can afford the monthly subscription, go for domain hunter. If price is an issue, go with Scrapebox.
