Today when I tried Scrapebox WhoIS scraper, it just gives :No Info: for every domain I try. Not sure what is wrong. Two days back, it was working fine.

Scrapebox support team says that ...

I checked my firewall settings. I did not find any place, where I can change the settings to allow port 43 or something like that.

    Not sure, what to do.
Will the Scrapebox experts help a newbie?

I already tried that...Disabled the firewall. Nothing happens.
And the issue is not related with a :big scrape:.
Even WhoIs for a single domain gives me "No Info".

    Thanks.

I too have had this problem for some time, I attempted to post about it in another thread and got flamed and was told that it was "user error" and that I had no clue what I was doing.

I'd love to have some more feedback, when I check whois I only get about 10% with info, the rest are No Info as you stated

well it depends guys.. i get a low success rate too.. when scraping with my own ip, then i quickly get blocked with most whois servers.. (i scrape 10-15k at a time)

another thing.. if u use socks, then ur success rate WILL go up..

and there are different whois servers.. for example to scrape godaddy regged domains u need to solve a captcha.. etc..

That's probably my problem then, I'm only targeting GoDaddy domains. Keep in mind I'm not scraping whois of 10k-15k, more like 100-200 at most at a time.

    Anyone else have any suggestions?

No its not related with GoDaddy or any specific registrar.
I tried my own domains regged with different registrars. Same results..."No Info".

Would anybody else have some suggestions?

Tried a few different things and still having the same problem. Has someone honestly had close to 100% success pulling Whois with Scrapebox?

I just used 56 random domains, 43 are with full info, 13 with no info. Most "no info" have been protected registration info.
So, the whois scraper works fine for me.
